Embarrassing 1-0 loss for Tottenham Hotspur today against Royal Antwerp FC in Europa League action.

Arsenal won 3-0 against Dundalk and Sp*rs losing 1-nil to Antwerp = sweet day for this Arsenal fan.

I dislike Daniel Levy's plastic club too, but comparing beating Dundalk at home with losing to Antwerp away is a bit like comparing a Premier League team beating Woking at home vs losing to Norwich away in the FA Cup Tongue. I was actually really hoping KI from the Faroe Islands, who made an amazing qualifying run, beat Dundalk and qualify for the group stages, but when Dundalk won, I hoped they would draw Arsenal. Dundalk wouldn't qualify from any group, so for their players to get a big day against an English giant is about as good as they could ask for. Shame the fans couldn't attend.

Kind of embarrassing, but Barcelona couldn't beat Deportivo Alaves, only getting a 1-1 draw yesterday.

Good win for Arsenal today - amazingly the first time in almost 6 years we’ve beaten a ‘Big Six’ club away, and 16 years since we beat Man Utd at Old Trafford. I remain cautiously optimistic about the direction of the club.

Torino - Lazio 3-4 is crazy and is also very very sad, especially considering Lazio scored the decisive goal eight minutes after the 90'.
Spezia - Juventus 1-4 on the other hand...

Somehow Manchester United is doing fine in the Champions League and doing horribly in the Premier League.

I bet on the draw for Torino-Lazio... I'm fuming lol.

Preach. Getting Partey and Gabriel M. has been a big help for our club.

Eh, Liverpool gets a draw/win with Man City and passes them.

Plus, Tottenham Hotspur should beat West Bromwich Albion and also pass them, as should the winner of the Leicester City/Wolverhampton Wanderers game (assuming there is one).

The joke can also be applied to Sporting fans in Portugal who are leading the score for the first time in 4 years. xD

And Sporting hasn't a win a Championship since 2002.

Spezia continue to impress, and despite losing today, I also rate Cadiz highly as far as the surprise packages of the season go. I'll continue to bet on both for value. Everton is clearly not a good team without their best player Richarlison.

Also, a couple of massive upsets in the FA Cup today - Marine beat Colchester and Darlo beat Swindon, both playing teams 3+ divisions above them away.

Arsenal shat the bed, as they lost 3-nil at home to Aston Villa.

Scotland has finally qualified for a major tournament! (not that qualifying for the Euros is an achievement anymore) Even better that they beat Serbia!

The best part of this is, Scotland and England are in the same group.

So back on Thursday, the U.S National Team got a 0-0 draw against Wales, in Swansea.

I mean, sure Wales didn't have Gareth Bale available, but they pretty much dominated the game. Great step forward for them.

They'll play Panama in Weiner Neudstadt on Monday.

In what's probably a good sign, the U.S crushed Panama 6-2 yesterday.

This victory over Panama's good news for those of us (like me) who would like to see the U.S be the best team in CONCACAF. Now if we could just consistently beat Mexico...

It will likely never happen (gladly). Viva México!

I was feeling very clever about having Norway beating Austria at 13.0 odds... and then Austria equalizes at 90+4'. I'm so disgusted. I bet big on that game, too.

ATALANTA  Love  Love  Love

I didn't bet on them, as they're way too inconsistent to bet on, just like Atleti, but its still great to watch them beat up the red sh**te. My other bets for the day - Marseille-Porto 2, Inter-Madrid 2, Bayern-Salzburg AH1 -1.5, Ajax-Midtjylland 2, are looking good though, so it should be a cash out day. Missed on Olympiacos-Man City AH2 -1.5 and Gladbach-Shakhtar 2, though, the latter of which was a big letdown.

This is an excellent day for betting. Nice-Dijon 1, Saint-Etienne-Lille 2, Leverkusen-Hertha 1, Milan-Fiorentina 1 have good odds considering they're almost locks in my book. For underdog value, Napoli-Roma 2 or X2 is pretty good. Chelsea-Spurs X2 isn't too bad either, but I can't stomach betting for Spurs over Chelsea. Southampton-Man Utd, I'm more interested in the BTTS than trying to predict the winner of that mess. Steering clear of Arsenal-Wolves and Lazio-Udinese.

Already re-invested my winnings from yesterday (close to breakeven day) into Danish and Swedish trebles. Just need one winning combination for profit.

Got absolutely murdered in the Champions League today. The prices on Bayern reached as high as 6.50 pre-match, and I could not resist. Also went Lokomotiv-Salzburg 1, Marseille-Olympiacos X, Porto-Man City 1X, Atalanta-Midtjylland X2, Liverpool-Ajax X2, all of which I think were good bets, and some of which paid, but I was way too heavy on those juicy Bayern odds that it ended up being quite a losing day. Still, it's called gambling for a reason. And good value doesn't mean you'll always win.

Last weekend of Serie A has been really juicy, between Juventus drawing at Benevento (lmao) and Spezia Purple heart drawing at Cagliari at last minute. And, of course, Inter and Napoli won as well. We are quite kicking ass for now, which I wasn't really expecting. From Portovenere to Montemarcello, from the Cinque Terre to the Val di Magra, we all shout: Forza Spezia!
