Gin, cursed Fiend, with Fury fraught,
       Makes human Race a Prey.
It enters by a deadly Draught
       And steals our Life away.

Virtue and Truth, driv'n to Despair
       Its Rage compells to fly,
    But cherishes with hellish Care
       Theft, Murder, Perjury.

Damned Cup! that on the Vitals preys
       That liquid Fire contains,
Which Madness to the heart conveys,
And rolls it thro' the Veins.

Rollin down the street, smokin indo, sippin on gin and juice

I mean, two of my favorite cocktails - negronis and martinis - are made from it, and of course, my gambling buddy, G&Ts. Also a favorite of me and my friends when we get table service in Singapore.

I doubt I have ever drunk pure gin.

As for cocktails I've drunk, negroni is not my favourite, London mule is great, and gin tonic is just lol.

It is okay, though among spirits I prefer rum or whisky.

I do like gin and tonic though

Possibly the best beverage ever created.
Would life even be complete without martinis, negronis, and gin & tonics?

Massive FF.

Nothing like an ice cold martini made with Dolin vermouth, lemon twist. Why bother with anything else?

Vodka, rye or beer please. Otherwise, basically anything but gin.

You have amazing taste! My go-to martini is 4 parts Plymouth, 1 part Dolin, with a twist.

What's wrong with you? Vodka is pointless.

The spirits hierarchy is obviously

Gin

Whiskey
Brandy
Rum

Tequila
Vodka

with other alcohols even lower.

I'm a fan, although it's been years since I drank liquor. I liked the pine taste - Bombay Sapphire was a favorite brand. I don't really drink that often anymore, but I just stick to beer now.

I like to get drunk as cheaply and (relatively) healthily as possible, and I don't want it to taste bad.

One of my friends in the State Department brought me a bottle from the Full Circle distillery from Calamba, Philippines. Really lovely botanical gin.

And Dolin's génépi is pretty rad too.

Decent list, although as a Scotch and Irish whisk(e)y lover, I would put them above gin. Also occasionally enjoy absinthe or arak.

Vodka can be good, if it's a quality vodka, served chilled and neat. By quality, I mean something like Chopin, not some pure marketing crap like Grey Goose.

Vodka doesn't taste like anything, especially when mixed. If you just want to drink something cheap, bland, low in sugar, etc., just drink Famous Grouse and soda or something.

As long as the alcohol doesn't taste like anything but the mix tastes good, and I'm getting drunk without emptying my wallet, I'm happy.

I don't like alcohol, but I have tried most types in my life and gin was actually the one I liked the best. Still not enough to want to drink it regularly though.

Actually, a place in my city makes a drink with gin, grapefruit juice, lime and soda, and it's f[inks]ing awesome.

What is this tier list?

Whiskey and Agave spirits should be top considering these are more commonly enjoyed neat, no?

Probably. I just really like gin and things with gin in them so that'll always be my favorite. The opposite goes for agave spirits. Regardless, I will die on the hill of vodka being the worst spirit.
