I try my best not to wish bad things on people, but I can't say I haven't done that in the past with Trump. It's quite another thing when it actually happens. I want him to live and witness his own landslide rejection by the American people.

I tried to think about this another way. If this was a family member or friend I really cared about, I would be extremely worried right now (and I'm someone that internalizes worry/concern like that). So many people that contract this virus can decline (really more like crash) in a matter of hours. The fact that they're already using remdesivir is a sign that his illness has progressed far more than they're saying. I'm not aware of the drug being used in the early stages of the disease with merely mild symptoms. As some have already noted, even if he recovers, it may not be a full recovery.

Effin insane! He's saying that he would continue rallies even with the virus. And he's suggesting that it was somehow brave of him to "confront" (become infected with) the virus as some sort of example to the country.

The new Fox News/ right wing rhetoric (which has even been made by some posters here) about him getting the virus indicating that he's "not a coward hiding in a basement" or "strong" seems to have gone to his head. We shouldn't be surprised if he learned nothing from this, what should be otherwise humbling, experience. It will only help dig his grave though...so to speak.

I will say it once again, it's almost a mantra for me: when Trump gets cocky, he f***s up.

Trump's recent actions in response to his diagnosis frustrate me to no end. If he recovers from this-as he seems to be on track to-and gets back on the trail, claiming that it's "no big deal", then his supporters will be further encouraged in their behavior.
