I don't know if this was expected/known or not, but St. Pete's last FL poll (that had Biden up) had Repubs outnumbering Dems in who was planning to vote early, 22R, 19D, 18I. So I guess it shouldn't be a surprise to see them leading.

http://stpetepolls.org/files/StPetePolls_2020_State_President_October12_H5NX8.pdf

There can be quite a bit of crosstab noise tbh, Siena found something similar to what's being observed based on party reg (while by party ID it's about D+7), but subsamples are still small.

In-person early voting finally opens up in WI tomorrow morning. I'll be voting, and I know a lot of friends who have been waiting until tomorrow to vote. Turnout probably jumps statewide by a couple percentage points at least.

"Miami Date" sounds like the name of a new reality show. Wink

Yes and it looks like big turnout there too, so we really need those numbers.

58,600 + 629,608 (the total up through yesterday) divided by 1,312,112 (the total number of Harris County votes in 2016) = 0.5245.

They did it y'all. Harris County already has more votes accepted than half of all which were cast in 2016....15 days before election day.

Hoping Harris can get to 700k total by the end of the day, with a goal of a million by this time next week.

Probably Texas

Tight race between VT, TX, and NJ. We might not truly know though since we don't have a live count, since they'll prolly all reach 50% on the same day.

the PA law states that ballots must at the very least be postmarked by election day and the Governor changed that.

And the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that it was okay because of the pandemic. Shows that the majority of the court doesn't care about Federalism.

Its the legislature that decides rules not the freakin unelected courts . This shows exactly why we need a conservative court cause liberal justices believe the courts should be super legislatures

That's a pretty ironic statement when applied nationally.

John Roberts disappointed me with that decision, as the constitution clearly states the state legislature is whom decides rules yet he sided with a court that overrides the decision of the state legislature

Related: Do you have the percent of the electorate that was white/black in 2018 and 2016?

In terms of the unofficial, SoS-classified categories (that leave anywhere from 5-10% of voters classified as "other/unknown")?

White-2018: 58.93%
Black-2018: 28.95%

White-2016: 60.79%
Black-2016: 27.66%
