I'll also say that Cotton is the reason why Tim Scott won't be able to advance farther in today's Republican Party, and his presence really does give credence to the criticisms of Scott, Daniel Cameron, Ben Carson, and other black Republicans as being tokens for white political dominance, as represented by the current Party.

You gotta give Republicans credit, they sure know how to tug at heartstrings and emotional voters.

Tonight's RNC speakers repeating how "weak" Obama was on terrorism while Trump has been so much stronger.

Remind me, who ordered that raid that killed Osama Bin Laden?

Why is Cotton talking about Trump like he's a war hawk? Wasn't Trump supposed to be anti-war?

Ssshsshhhshhh he's whatever he is depending on who's speaking.

Like Biden apparently being pro-war but simultaneously coddling with the enemies apparently? Tongue

The Republicans have always criticized the Democrats for being "soft" on national security. During the Cold War, they were hit over "being soft on communism." In the past twenty years, communism has been replaced by terrorism.

I heard Hillary Clinton say Biden was against the raid though?

Is it normal for a police union to endorse a President in such stark & divisive terms? Idk if it's unusual or not for somebody like this to speak at a partisan convention. It seems absolutely insane.

A lot of cop unions are endorsing Trump and will endorse GOPers for a long time....maybe for the next 20 years

How can Trump take full-credit for the FIRST STEP Act when it passed both houses of Congress in a landslide (without the help of 12 Republican Senators, including one Tom Cotton)? His only role in making that bill a law was choosing not to veto it.

Did the alleged death of Osama Bin Laden do anything to curb terrorism?

I don't like military worship on either side.

You can say that for Tim Ryan, Seth Moulton, Lizzie Fletcher for the Democrats as well. As long as AOC/Omar are the face of the Democrats, Fletcher/Moulton are not in sync with the Democratic Party.

They're too white.

All politics are identity politics.

Ivanka is a thousand times more charismatic than Don Jr. If the GOP is smart they'd run her. Don Jr. would get creamed, but she might do well.

"The People's President," Ivanka? Maybe in the alternate universe where he actually won the popular vote, sure, but certainly not in this one.

It's amazing to think that Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton once had a great friendship, which was destroyed by the great electoral battle between their parents, and the insults that came of it.

Okay, so Ivanka just said that Washington is full of people who only complain & don't actually do anything so they can keep running on the same platform.

Think about that for literally more than a second. 99% sure they live in their own bubble.

Ivanka is good at this, Don Jr. shouldn't run, she should.

Of course I don't like either, but Don is worse.
