I have a side comment to offer here. I live in Colorado Springs, which as everyone knows is a firmly Republican city in a firmly Republican county (El Paso County), and will vote for Trump this November. Moreover, I live in a firmly Republican neighborhood in the most heavily Republican section of the city. One of my neighbors up the street has Trump campaign tags on their vehicles. And as I was coming back from work today, I noticed a tag on the vehicle of another neighbor, who lives directly across from me.

I went up to look at the tag in more detail, and it says (I'm quoting verbatim) that "If you want America to be a sh**hole, then vote Democrat." And I've talked about Trump-supporting co-workers at my job (which is probably the majority of them), and about my father, who voted for Trump last time and dislikes both Obama and Biden (though he is wavering in his support for Trump now because of the pandemic). As anyone here would know, I used to be of the "both sides" mentality and used to be more supportive of the right. But my views have altered quite drastically over the past few years, as I've grown to appreciate the consequences of what Trump has done, and how corrupt he is. It frightens me that he will get 45-46% of the popular vote, when he should only receive 34-40%.
