Very refreshing to hear Bernie talk positively about Biden and not just negatively about Trump. An unironic well done from me.

Okay, this is the first time that I truly loved Bernie. Getting the man with the image of a radical to introduce the term 'Authoritarianism' into the mainstream is genius, since it will quickly disseminate among the activist base. It makes sense given how the dems are branded as Socialists, so why not return the favor...especially when it is relevant. It is also straighter to the point, and less easier rebuffed, and more accurate than the term 'Fascist'' which is presently used by certain groups to describe the Trump administration.

Anyone remember when Bill Clinton wanted to lower the Medicare age from 65 to 55?

The Biden campaign needs to do more of this in general.

It's pretty obvious that he likes Biden on a personal level.

That Sanders speech was really good. Honestly, it's the best I've seen from him (and I've been a Sanders fan for like 5 years).

The more Biden's allies campaign on this, the harder it will be for the worst sorts to push him away from it in office.

Makes me sad that there'll be no campaign rallies this year. I think he would've helped Joe a lot by campaigning for him on college campuses

Was painful to watch... especially Cuomo and Kasich's remarks.

Kyle wants Trump to win so bad

Time and time again, Bernie proves that he's pretty good even if he has some awful online supporters

What's amazing is that I know Obama's speech is pre-recorded but it still feels like its live.

Has anybody noticed that the DNC website is a couple of minutes delayed from the version on TV (CBS in my case), which is presumably live?

Is the tape delay planned?

Feeling a little more confident after seeing Bernie and Michelle. I will try not to be so fatalist but this still seems too good to be true.

I think the conventions are unlikely to sway someone planning on voting "the other way" - but they may get an uninspired voter (e.g., a Bernie supporter) to support the candidate.

I am not sure how many non-political junkies tune in - maybe some curious folks this time since it is a different format - but the periodic voter?  No... I don't see him/her watching.
