Easy--they listen to Kanye West and then believe in progressive causes. Hope this helps!
You know all those stupid metalcore bands I gave you sh!t for liking?

Those bands are f[inks]ing Mineral or Rites of Spring in comparison to Kanye West. His "music" is such unbelievable garbage I've been unable to make it through an entire song of his I've heard. This sh!t is just sooooooo bad it makes me want to shove pencils in my ears. Pure, unadulterated garbage.

Why would anybody listen to rap?

Im 15 and even i know there is no point to rap. It has no meaning and is just somebody talking really fast while mumbling all the words to the point that you can't understand it. It takes no talent because anybody can do it, even i could but i despise it so i won't. They are constantly swearing these offensive terms including the f bomb and at worst, the n word! It sickens me that people like and listen to rap because its crap. God forbid you listen to rap but if you do, at least listen to Eminem. He is the best one and he can't say the n word. Kendrick, J.Cole, and Drake are nothing compared to the Rap God.

Why can't we go back to the good old days with Queen, ACDC, and Led Zepplin? Those bands had actual talent and could produce music while these rapers can't put two sentences together. It really does sadden me knowing that this generation probably hasn't even heard of these amazing bands. This generation absolutely sucks and i just wish i could go back to the 1980's, maybe i would make some friends back then.

I’m not a huge rap fan but I wouldn’t use these pretty simplistic (and borderline racist) critiques. Also wouldn’t exactly say Queen and ACDC are the best examples of great bands. Not massively into classic rock but I can appreciate Led Zep. There is still good music being made if you look beyond the Top 40.

That's.
A.
Sarcastic.
Post.
Damn.

(sorry for the tone)

Ah sorry. All I can say is he did a very convincing job of a teenage rap hater.

Thats what many people think of the bands you like, it turns out that music taste is subjective

No. BRTD's taste is objectively bad.
Do you honestly think this song sucks?

I for one am a firm believer in the notion that the art can be separated from the artist.  Otherwise I wouldn't have Burzum as one of my favorite artists/bands.

Hell, Meat Loaf is an outright climate change denier.  Doesn't mean he's not a great artist.

I don't think that one sucks, but it's pretty meh other than for the cringe factor in the lyrics and the useless  sound effects

Politics shouldn't get in the way of what you listen or not. I don't approve Grimes either, but she creates great music and I love to listen to her. The only reason i don't listen to Kanye West, is because I dislike his music and I apparently have bad taste Tongue

Kayne is admired as a celebrity in the AA community,  not his politics, just like Schwarzenegger was admired in Caucasian community and still is but not his politics.

In CA, they still look up to Schwarzenegger and Nancy Reagan whom were pro choice

That's why Teddy would have beaten Reagan and John F Kennedy would have beaten Goldwater and RF would have beaten Nixon, not in TX but Cali

John Kennedy assassination was unnecessary,  he was gonna win Cali against Goldwater

It's a problem in the sense that it apparently renders you unable to understand how other people are able to do it, and prompted you to create this thread:

No.

This is the equivalent of me saying "There is actually one emo song I do like" and then posting Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

I don't know why anyone would want to listen to him in the first place, left or right or whatever. His so-called music sucks ass. I say that as a "progressive" Millennial.

I'm not able to do that. I basically only listen to music made by people with the same politics as me so if someone doesn't listening to them would make me freak the f[inks] out.

You really think all those emo bands are all liberal, all the time?

Yes. They talk about politics at shows sometimes, have political messages in their liner notes and on social media, etc.

I had never heard this one before.
It gives me the impression that you like rappers who don't actually rap.
I suggest you Italian singer Neffa then (who you'll probably find sh1tty, but whatever).
