You can be a far leftist on this forum and not be a jerk.  Jacobin American certainly has views I don't agree with (as well as some I definitely DO agree with), but he's a good guy who one can talk to.  I certainly have profound differences with NOVA Green, but he's a guy you can talk to and find some areas of agreement.  Nathan is like that.  Of the non-socialist left, Xing is like that.  jdb is like that.  There are many others.

CraneHusband is not like that and works at being that way.  He's an HP in that he views people who don't see it his was as garbage.  That's what makes people an HP in my book; the inability to even begin to work with people who see life differently than you do.

I liked Cornyn. I wish he was more pro-Brexit, but he already had a hard time running the Labor Party. I’d NEVER vote for him but I certainly respect him.
