This tweet needs flagged for factual inaccuracy. The fact is, Democrats are at this very moment putting up with election theft because not one person involved in Trump's fraud parade has been indicted.

I would mention in GA ads that Loeffler and Perdue want to work with Tuberville to overturn the American people. A lot of the state knows who he is as a 3rd rate coach.

Desperate political stunt that keeps getting described with a clichéd sports metaphor and they're trotting out a football coach to do it. Huh.

The Democrats need to use all these fraud claims as a chance to submit federal legislation to move locales towards paper ballots/paper trails and scientific auditing to improve election security. If there's any moment Republicans might agree to it, it's around now...
There should be paper ballots cast in person on election day and counted the night of the election. The ballots should be one per office. Voters should show their federal ID.

This is so dumb (well, it all is).  Georgia uses Dominion machines that create a paper printout of the ballot which the voter can check before depositing it in the ballot box/scanner.  The election audit involved hand-counting all the ballots based on the printed results in the Presidential race, i.e. they made separate piles of Biden, Trump, Jorgensen, and write-in votes, and then counted each pile.  It proved that the Dominion machines were not flipping votes.

To be fair, while that means that the election was not rigged and everything worked as expected; the go-to video I tend to go for when discussing why election machines are bad called that kind of system "the world's most expensive pencil". Tongue

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/530420-republican-nc-state-senator-trump-should-invoke-the-insurrection-act

Quote
A Republican state senator in North Carolina is doubling down after making comments on social media paraphrasing a retired general who called on President Trump to invoke the rarely-used Insurrection Act and suspend civil liberties such as habeas corpus.

State Sen. Bob Steinburg (R) reportedly called for the president to invoke the act and declare the results of the 2020 election invalid in a Facebook post paraphrasing Air Force lieutenant general Thomas McInerney (ret.), writing: “President Trump must declare a national emergency,” adding that “Trump should also invoke the Insurrection Act.”

So far these calls for martial law/Insurrection Act/military coup have been limited to fringe wingnuts and random R state legislators. But I'm sure these are getting in Trump's ear and who knows what he will try when he gets this idea in his head...
The military isn't going to back Trump.

Worth noting that the police, particularly the more militarized police units can play a role in a coup; or even launch it outright. The 1981 coup here was actually led by the police, not the military.

Of course, said coup launching police does need a good amount of support from the military in order for the coup to be successful; otherwise it won't last more than a day or 2 at most.

Plus if I am not mistaken the only federal US police force is the FBI anyways right? (which is way too small to launch a coup anyways).

The Pentagon has suddenly stopped transition briefings, claiming the staff is "overwhelmed."

They insist they will begin again after the holidays.

Good grief, even the official reasoning is absurd. I'm too busy to make a chad doge meme right now, but imagine I made one where the bipedal musclebound doge is labelled "normal Pentagon leadership" and is saying something like "we're a well-oiled, constantly vigilant war machine" and the pathetic crying doge is labelled "Trump loyalist Pentagon leadership" and is saying "let us rest, people are busy and the holidays are coming up".

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the official reasoning really is the actual reason in this case. Trump diehards are just that incompetent, lazy, and stupid.

From the link:

Peter Navarro releases 36-page report alleging election fraud 'more than sufficient' to swing victory to Trump

Quote
Director of the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy Peter Navarro published a lengthy report Thursday outlining several examples of voting irregularities that are “more than sufficient” to swing the outcome of the election in President Trump’s favor.

The 36-page report “assesses the fairness and integrity of the 2020 Presidential Election by examining six dimensions of alleged election irregularities across six key battleground states” and concludes that “patterns of election irregularities ... are so consistent across the six battleground states that they suggest a coordinated strategy to, if not steal the election, strategically game the election process in such a way as to ... unfairly tilt the playing field in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket.”

The six dimensions of voting irregularities in the report include: outright voter fraud, ballot mishandling, contestable process fouls, equal protection clause violations, voting machine irregularities, and significant statistical anomalies.

Ballots with a single office are easier to hand count. As you examine each ballot, you sort into piles as another observer keeps count. You then (re)count the stacks making sure that the ballots were sorted correctly.

Fascist pig

There should be a McCarrick Report-style investigation into how this anticonstitutional lunatic rose through the ranks. I'm serious.
