He's not going to accept any result other than what's counted on election night.  He'll declare victory on election night regardless of the vote tallied at that time.  The courts will back him.

I know it's alarmist, and I won't speculate as to how he'll do it, but the courts. will. back. him.

There is absolutely no requirement to have all votes tallied and a winner certified on election night.  I suppose Trump now wants to disqualify all the overseas military ballots that typically arrive later.

Also; who’s to say we won’t see a blue mirage in dorm states that start counting ballots before Election Day? I don’t necessarily think we’ll see a red or blue mirage the night of, but just a really weird map overall

Doesn't do much now, right?  Most people who were going to VBM have already dropped off their ballot.

If anything, it hurts Republicans more.  Democrats have been really beating the drum about voting as early as possible and not trusting the USPS to deliver your ballot in the final week.

Ca. 30 million mail ballots that were requested were not returned as of yesterday, the last day the Post said voters should return them to be counted.

Democrats have a 3 million lead among those unreturned ballots.

Looks like a lot of wasted votes if they come in on Wednesday in several states, such as WI.

Gotta wonder though, given Trump's open disruption of USPS, how many people gave up on mail vote after requesting their ballot (or simply decided it wasn't worth the risk) and voted in-person instead.

Hopefully this can be appealed in a day or two and we can get a judge to stay the ruling through the election.

Imagine if this results in Biden narrowly losing the popular vote and winning the electoral college lol

Or a SCOTUS intervention in a post-election suit by an R congressional candidate in CA that results in like 2 million CA mail votes being invalidated?

Way to completely warp reality; we aren't talking about voter fraud here but about the fact that people who send in ballots before Election day won't have their ballots counted because of these rulings.

Cool. Though I can't imagine many of the mask skeptics won't grumbling put one on at their polling place threshold, then disgustedly throw it to the ground the second they exit, rather than not vote for their hero Patient Zero.

It's personal freedom though. It's so important people can bring guns to polling stations, because some may not feel liberated or free unless they have a gun with them when they vote.
