I don’t think his margin will increase from 2014, but honestly it’s believable

Yeah, but the DSCC (and other Democrats) will still keep posting internal polls which are months old showing McGrath and McConnell nearly tied, and many will keep donating to this race instead of the several actually winnable ones. Roll Eyes

Yeah DSCC keep polling KY but wont poll KS R primary with Kobach and Marshall or D primary in MA. DSCC are polling certain races like KY to get donations  AK, KY, SC and TX are Safe R now

I still don’t think it will actually be that lopsided but yeah McGrath is DOA.

IF it does turn out to be anywhere close to that bad, especially if it’s a Democratic wave year with Trump failing to improve in KY, then Christ did we get a bad candidate. Schumer deserves all the criticism in the world for basically shoving Rocky Adkins and Matt Jones aside for loser McGrath. Who would then have TWICE failed miserably to capitalize on a strong Democratic climate.

And honestly I am especially concerned because typically we’d still be at the point of the McConnell cycle when polls would show narrow leads for him at best, even R internals. If it’s this bad now, it means we might not even have to worry about being Charlie Brown trying to kick Lucy’s football again because it will be obvious from a mile away what will happen.

Sigh...yes, unfortunately this is 100% correct.
