Heads up, campaign will be ending on Wednesday 23rd instead of Friday 25th, I don't want anyone - myself or the players - stressing out over this during Christmas. Campaigning is open, including events already posted during the day.

Now that we're officially in campaign season, when will the first round of polls be out?

Tomorrow or Wednesday, with a polling update next week.

Not to press too hard, but is there a timeline on the first polling update?

Don't wanna try to push too hard since you have a lot going on, but I noticed we're a bit late on the polling update

Indeed, I'm still with limited internet on my continued LOA and - if I'm to be honest - still in mourning and thus resting from a lot of stuff. I did manage to get the start of month numbers ready to be posted now,  but I haven't got the time or energy to grade the events thus far to add them to the polling for fully updated numbers (will try to get a second polling update with that soon, but no promises on the date).

Also, friendly reminder that the South now operates with RCV for the Gubernatorial and Mayoral contests.

The Atlasian Socialist Movement wishes to run in all states/territories/cities available for December.

Our standard color will be black (since red/maroon is taken).

I would do standard red if allowed but otherwise I think it'd be best to keep it black for distinguishing purposes Tongue

Probably not. Just got back from my trip and I'm rather exhausted, don't think will be able to resume GM duties under Monday. Not ruling out a miracle of sorts, but don't count on it.

Reminder that the final day starts in two hours, in order to avoid campaigning during Christmas (results will still be on Saturday). Rather wish I had managed to provide a polling update, but it just wasn't possible this time.

Also, once campaigning ends I'll be opening up a feedback, commentary and suggestions thread so we can discuss this six month cycle - how time files! -, and may put up a rather specific poll as well.

Excited for the commentary thread! This was, at the very least, a fun experiment, and I'd like to thank you for making this possible.

No pressure, but out of curiosity, what's the timeline on December results? I'd presume after Christmas, but if you could confirm that that would be nice.

Make that a potentially later date, just saw the amount of events posted today...

(Which rather defeats the purpose of the last day cap, but that's something to discuss on the feedback process)

As Chairman of the Green Party of Atlasia, I declare this party to be in formal alliance with the Labor Party and Peace Party for all future federal, regional, and local elections.
Wait, did this ever go into effect? AFAIK Sev was still the legal chairman of the Greens at this point.

So I’ve noticed this question hasn’t really been answered afaik, but what happens if someone changes registration to a new state in obvious anticipation for that state’s NPC elections? (Like say, if I changed to Alabama right now) is the home state bonus removed, or halved, or what is the plan?

I would like to clarify in case this was not apparent that all of the DA speeches that included a video this month were in-person events with the videos representing the speech that was given at the events. These were not virtual events.

I'm against this in all aspects of the game, so I'm hoping it isn't allowed.  And if you're in any kind of regional legislature, you should get removed from it immediately (if it is allowed).

If you move out of the region, you can't keep your seat. If you move within the region, I don't see any legal way of kicking people out for it.
