I support Trump on this. This was used as a smear against him and is just locker room talk. Every man is like this and most women too, i believe. I'm demisexual, so not me though. I'm not interested in sex as long there is no deep emotional connection between us. But I believe sex is way too much of a taboo still in our current society and support the sex industry although i will never make use of it. I don't watch porn or visit sex workers because of a lack of interest, not of religious motives. If anything, i'm even glad Trump is so open about sex. Every politician is a ing hypocrite on this. It made me more likely to support Trump! He should be proud of the leaked tape. It shows he's a healthy man.

Tbh, I’m not sure how achievable that would be in the US, but ideally yes. Handguns are banned outright in the UK and heavily restricted in most other European countries. Unlike shotguns and rifles, I don’t really think there is a legitimate reason to own a handgun.

The dynamics are different in the UK and Europe though. There isn't as prevalent a police violence problem overseas as there is here in the states. The argument that flipped me in favor of gun ownership (though I do support some more stringent regulations like red flag laws, enhanced background checks, and I've heard compelling arguments in favor of a national gun registry but am hesitant about the optics) was that the state cannot own guns while disarming citizens, especially given our present circumstance. Maybe if cops didn't have guns, I'd feel differently.

Sucks that T-Mac is going to run away with this nomination because JCF seems like one of the best gubernatorial candidates anywhere. She could've been a real model for black women to win statewide in 2022 (Abrams, Beasley, etc.) but old white men just can't give up their power.

You edited part of that out quite disingenuously, you know.

Nothing about including the part about the Squad makes the post any less absurd. The point is still that "Nancy Pelosi is a socialist" which is so detached from reality that nothing else could modify its absurdity. There's even an argument to be made that voting in line with the Squad doesn't necessarily make one a socialist.

What is the purpose of DeSantis trying to primary Trump? Usually, primaries are supposed to give voters a choice of two different candidates.

Cause DeSantis actually cares about getting conservative policy passed and can explain how he wants to do it while Trump support is mostly about “Trigger the libs”.

I would agree to #4, but I wonder if the NAACP has ever demanded that police academies start training future officers about the meaning of the Equal Protection Clause and how it pertains to police officer work. Cadets are already trained in certain other aspects of constitutional law, such as how to interrogate suspects and how to conduct lawful searches, so they ought to add training in the Supreme Court's case law about racial equality. They should be trained that it is unconstitutional to treat a suspect worse because of race or national origin. If the NAACP hasn't demanded that yet, then why don't they start doing so now?
