To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Ron DeSantis. The intellegence is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of politics most of the positions will go over a typical Atlasian's head. There's also Ron's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The primary voters understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these positions, to realize that they're not just true- they say something deep about LIFE. It's important to do this in ways that also set them against each other, so that the movement can't regather.
