His politics were FF-tier, but his time in Vietnam is marred by the raid on Thanh Phong where innocents were killed on Kerrey's command. I can't profess to know exactly what went down or what the heat of war feels like, but the story is pretty harrowing, so HP overall.

Gore was a weak Veep that's why he underperformed so much in 2000 against Bush W. Bush W knew that, and it wasnt Nadar or sighing in debates that doomed his chances, it was the fact Bob Kerrey, not Gore should of been Clinton's Veep and Dems could of avoided 2000 defeat
