If you think your daughter is old enough, see Sherlock Holmes.  It was really great.

She's old enough but she refuses to go to or watch any movie her father would like.  I do want to see it, though.

Boondock Saints II

Terrible, terrible movie.  It almost felt like a parody of the first one.

Avatar - the graphics were awesome.  The story, though, was extreme, taking the worst possible views of the military and corporations.  It seemed kind of preachy, but good overall.

The first felt like a parody of crime drama Tarantino-esque films too rather than a legitimate one, so if this is even worse...wow.

Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, with Michael Douglas. It was really really awful. I wouldn't have watched it but I was bored and my mom brought it home from Red Box. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy...

My thoughts exactly.  The worst part is that my friends who dragged me to see it with them both love the film and eagerly anticipate what looks like another sequel.

I think I actually like Avatar more, and the thought makes me want to vomit.  At least its visuals are impressive; Boondock Saints II has nothing to compensate for a poorly scripted screenplay.

Up in the Air x2    6.5-7/10 or so

saw the latter half of I Love You Man tonight, and it met expectations.. garbage plot, little to no hint of creativity or originality, etc.

Away We Go. At times I thought it was really good, but at other times it sort of descended into typical indie/hipster schlock

Taken. Very exciting thriller movie, even if you knew the ending already there were some twists. I generally liked it.

Enemy at the Gates.

No more love triangles in WWII movies. Ever. Great movie otherwise.

The most awkward sex scene in the history of film, hands down. Even beats The Watchmen.

I also love how every Soviet has a thick British accent and every Nazi has an American accent. When the kid version of Jude Law yells out "I'm soory granfava!" in that cockney Oliver Twist voice I crack up every time...

Yeah I can forgive the Soviets all speaking English since audiences hate subtitles and they need named stars, but the accent thing was ridiculous, also the fact that the Germans also spoke English. That was especially dumb as they kept talking about how Rachel Weisz was such a help because she could speak German yet there was basically no German spoken in the movie.

A Serious Man

Greatly amusing and thoroughly enjoyable. Great characters - the rabbis and Sy were particularly good. Really liked the prologue as well.

Damn, somebody had an awful lot of free time. I could never sit through most of those films. Of course, I saw a lot of all of them anyway. Sad
