Hypothetical.

Tonight when you go to sleep, you fall into a coma.

When you wake up, you are alone in the top stories of a large hospital and you determine that 18 months have passed. The hospital is barricaded, so you cannot leave.

Nobody is around except for one person on the roof with a helicopter and he has no idea where to go. Omega Man (1971) is a movie that springs to mind.

The phone has no service, the internet has failed, and the only website where you have any messages remaining is Atlas. You have been invited by four popular members of Atlas who appear under stress to stay in safety with them where they have barricaded themselves in key locations:

• Hillgoose has locked himself in the White House.
• Virginia has locked herself in the Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida.
• Santander has locked himself in the TransAmerica Pyramid in San Francisco.
• Penn Quaker Girl appears safe on the George Bush  Jnr ranch in Texas.

You have absolutely no knowledge of what has transpired over the last 18 month, but the the person on the roof tells you that the Hospital is no longer safe, and he asks you to get in the helicopter and take him to safety.

Which person do you choose to visit in an Apocalyptic Survival scenario?

Both Hillgoose and Santander would attempt to kill me on the spot, due in part to previous barbs exchanged in this forum, so their exclusion is a no-brainer. That leaves Virginia and PQG. Now from the scant interactions I’ve had with these two, it seems like PQG tolerates my online presence more, which can be extrapolated as her tolerating my own self. Such a thing would be vital for us to work as a team on surviving this conundrum. She also has medical skills that would be useful in me surviving this crisis.

Hell ya, during the night at least, but during they day we'd get down to business and when the DJIA hit 200 I'd rally my followers to come up with the money to LBO Deutsche Bank for $5 and some Purrell and TP.

Let's see, I like all these posters but:

-Hillgoose's frat boy-esque persona would probably get on my nerves if I were to visit him.

-Santander seems like a major wild-card, and that might not be ideal in an apocalypse scenario.

-And Virginia is in Florida, which I already try to avoid as much as possible in a non-apocalyptic scenario, so I can only imagine what a hell-scape it is in the apocalypse. Hell, she's at Mar-a-Lago which is already a rat infested, roach-filed hovel; so the fact that it can be an even worse place somehow is an obvious pass for me.

So that leaves Penn Quaker Girl. It isn't actually a default choice though, she has medical knowledge which could be helpful in the apocalypse, especially after I awoke in a hospital with no idea what happened to me. So I chose her.

Under this scenario, probably Virginia, since I'm guessing it was her that kept Atlas running through the literal apocalypse, and Mar a Lago now probably looks like NORAD in War Games.
