As this appears to be the only way to get your attention, I hereby bring this matter to the Supreme Court, and ask the justices to rule upon this.

The Constitution explicitly states, in Article 1, Section 2, Clause 4: No person shall be Senator who has not attained  thirty or more posts at the forum, and does not live within the region or district they represent. Their avatar must be in place indicating a state from his or her region or district.

Senator Boss Tweed is displaying an avatar from the Canadian province of New Brunswick.  Senator Michael Z is displaying an avatar from the United Kingdom.  Senator ShapeShifter is displaying an avatar from the European nation of Sweden.  I submit that all three Senators are in violation of the Constitution.  The appropriate remedy is to strip them of their positions.

Senator John F. Kennedy can perhaps be excused for displaying a United Kingdom avatar, as he also displays a California avatar in his signature.

Thank You.

Yea. I would have to agree. I mean, you could have asked us to change it. Not threaten us with Supreme Court Action. See, I changed my avatar.

I'm with Fritz... this situation should be resolved before we have major problems.

I'm with Fritz here.

If he's "overreacting" to this clear violation of the Constitution, then a lot of you were overreacting to my challenge of the election results in District 4.

Boss Tweed, Michael Z, and Shapeshifter sure seemed to be such experts on the Constitution when they "overreacted" to my challenge of that election, they should know of their own violation.

They should just change their avatars and go on.
No need to strip them of their titles.

ShapeShifter, I have brought this up elsewhere previously:

And I would like to point out that Senator Shapeshifter is currently in violation of Article I, section 2, clause 4.  Sweden is not a state from the district or region he represents.

What is the punishment for a Senator violating the Constitutional requirements of being a Senator?  Do they relinquish their seat?

As you can see, I have asked you to change it before.  You (and Boss Tweed and Michael Z) have ignored me.

Since ShapeShifter has changed his avatar, and no longer violates the Constitution, I withdraw my Supreme Court action against him.  My Supreme Court action stands against Boss Tweed and Michael Z.

If they actually change thier avatars, as ShapeShifter has done, fine.

If Shapeshifter and Boss Tweed change their avatars back to New York, that solves the problem.  Michael Z, since he is actually from the UK, can do what JFK did and add his fantasy avatar to his signature.  There is no need to make this a federal case if they just do these simple things.

I have to agree with Justice KEmperor, Micheal Z should just do as JFK did and put DC in his signature.

Since the purpose of the law seems to be to make it clear which state a person is registered to vote in, we should let people use whatever avatars they want as long as their fantasy avatar is in their signature and it is clear that it is their fantasy avatar.

What are we to do in the case of voters:
As you can see my signature is unambiguous - does it need the avatar, or is my declaration sufficient?

The action of the Court stands:

The Senators have five days to change their avatars back to the area which they represent in the Senate. If they do not, they formally forfeit their Constitutional privilege to serve.

The Court has convened on this issue?

We haven't discussed it, but like Texasgurl said, we all replied and seem to be in agreement that the avatar needs to be there.  Although, Migrendel's ruling is vague about signature avatars for our foreign members, which I personally support and I hope he does as well.

Yes, we have enough foreign members to justify allowing them to use the avatars while serving in the senate.

Why wasn't LEGAL action taken against JFK?  He has a UK avatar.

It shouldn't matter.  I am suing JFK.
