But... the transcript is one of the main thing that incriminates Trump. He's really going all in on psychological warfare on his cult...
And Mitt Romney’s Hair shows it’s working

I am totally onboard what WH Counsel Pat Cippolone just said on the Senate Floor. MAN, that guy is good.

The House Inquiry is a complete HOAX orchestrated by Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler.

Cipollone continued: “If I showed up in any court in this country and I said, ‘Judge, my case is overwhelming, but I’m not ready to go yet. I need more evidence’ … I would get thrown out in two seconds and that’s exactly what should happen here.”

Steele isn't even a true Republican. He is a True RINO, TURNCOAT, whatever. Surprised he is still on MSNBC. He should be booted, mocked on Social Media.

Well, he’s lying. I can confirm that prosecutors do in fact like to have all of the evidence before they go to trial.

I was worried that a quick acquittal would be a boon for Trump. But a quick trial might be worse politically for Republicans than i thought.

Because it looks rigged. Poll after poll has shown Americans want a fair trial and a quick one with no evidence or witnesses is obviously not that.

And since Trump isn't getting removed either way, Republicans could have just decided to play fair and let the cards fall where they may.  But they're banking on people forgetting about the impeachment trial (they won't, and Trump himself will be more than happy to keep reminding people about it until November) instead of how much of a sham trial this is shaping to be.

The Democrats have no smoking gun. It turns out they have brought forward a case with very little substance. By asking for more time, more documents and witnesses, the Democrats have themselves brought to light the total weakness of their case.

It is starting to look like a simple mud throwing exercise.

The case is fine. The request for more documents is due to how unbelievably partisan hacks the republicans have become and to pressure them with more incriminating evidence

This Trail is a complete Circus IMO. No matter of witnesses are being called or not the outcome no matter if it's 2, 3 or 5 weeks like the Clinton Impeachment will be the same. Trump will be acquitted as there ain't 67 Votes to boot him from Office.

And some of these Senate Races are already pre-determined: For example Cory Gardner in Colorado will lose his Seat no matter if he convicts Trump or acquits him. Colorado is basically the new Virginia.

In Arizona McSally is highly likely to lose no matter what she does. The more interesting Senator from that State in Sinema.

Collins in Maine hasn't draw a serious Primary Challenger so she may call for witnesses.

I am hearing a lot of assertions, and not a lot of evidence here. Assertions don't work in this case without evidence.

Donald would be loving this.

The levels of bad faith in which people like Meclazine and 2016 engage in is amazing. They never actually defend Trump with evidence but just rely on bs partisan talking points and insults
