Upon assuming office, Edwards inherited a $2 billion deficit from his predecessor, Governor Bobby Jindal. As a result, stabilizing Louisiana's budget was a top priority for the Edwards Administration. Edwards prides himself upon reversing the economic downfall he inherited, as the state under his governorship achieved record-high GDP, record-high personal income, low unemployment, and one of the highest economic growth rates in the country.
Doing that in a state like LA is pretty impressive

You realize you're citing an uncited claim on Wikipedia, right?

I am not writing an research paper on this issue lol . Most of what is on Wiki is accurate , and while when you are writing a research paper that is obviously not good enough , we aren’t.

That's true but it's blatantly false to me. Louisiana's economy is crumbling.

Bel Edwards, even though it won't matter. Louisiana will reject him to make up for their apparent "mistake" in electing him last time.
