Anybody who supports Trump is questionable. I view them as the same sort of people who would have supported Hitler because Hitler was a "strongman", "the economy", blamed all problems on ethnic minorities instead of their own foolish choices, and put nationalism and making America/Germany great again over simple morality and common decency.

You guys are so insulated in your liberal bubbles you can't even imagine a good person who happens to support Trump. Get help.

I don't understand why a "good" person would support Trump. That means they condone bullying, tyranny, constant lying, belittling people just because they disagree with Trump, always scandals surrounding him, not to mention he doesn't understand politics.

"Good" people who are okay with this stuff aren't "good" people in my book. They need help.

The GOP is going the way of the Whigs; as a result of, impending trifecta in 2020 and 2022. This is what happens when the GOP party is out of power in the House. The GOP has used the House as a way to get back Presidency since 2000

The "fake news" is the fig leaf they use to acknowledge they don't care about the crimes and impeachable behavior. For many Republicans, it's been a debate tool to say "I don't simply recognize this because the NYT and Washington Post broke this!"

The debate tools are to ignore, minimize, and then to say "But the President said ... "

Their problem, at this point, is that the crimes and the behavior keeps piling up precisely because they enable it so much, thus they are forced to rely on these debate exercises more and more in the vain hope that it all ends somewhere.
It ends when they find the down escalator to heaven.

Republicans who still support Donald Trump are either so foolish and unwise as to be a danger to the public, or they are worse than Mr. Trump himself.

You guys are so insulated in your liberal bubbles you can't even imagine a good person who happens to support Trump. Get help.

Give me an example of a “good person” supporting Adolf Hitler.

Trump is a wannabe dictator, with dictatorial policies and a dictatorial outlook in the way he conducts himself and his presidency, and no good person can support that.

You need help.

Bad.

I'm serious.  You may have the worst case of Trump Derangement Syndrome on all of Atlas.

I mean... he's right though Fuzzy. He is factually correct. The only reason anti-Trump posters on here don't talk about it more or criticize Trump for it more is because Trump is a MASSIVE, massive f__k-up who is constantly doing insane stupid things that deserve more attention and harsher criticism than Trump's dangerous un-American dictator wabna-be authoratarian behavior.

Also, every single Trump supporter at this stage in the game needs help (bad). Pot, meet kettle.

You should be strapped to a chair with your eyelids forced open (a la Clockwork Orange) and forced to watch a marathon of The Rocky Picture Horror Show, 12 Years A Slave, Moonlight and The Shape Of Water wirh a packed crowd of happy energetic drunk Black Lives Matter Gay Pride social justice warriors.

Screw that! Trump is not a normal politician and I’m sick of this damn gaslighting by rwers and cynical indies over it. This is a man who just recently has been making death threats to the person who blew the whistle on his blatant abuse of office. Who set up an immigration policy of kidnapping kids and placing them in concentration camps, and tonight at his rally attacked Somalian refugees (not illegal immigrates) freaking refugees fleeing civil war and bragged to applause about how much he cut down our refugee program. He’s a disgusting human being who has launched an all out war on our countries institutions and everything as a country we should stand for. And if you look at that and more and support him your at best a partisan hack who is party before all else and at worst a sociopath

They're the same personality types, we shouldn't deny that they're capable of perpetrating comparable crimes under similar circumstances. Authoritarians are tribalist animals disguised as human beings.

I don't think they're bad people. I think they've been conned. It's happened to all of us, though the scale here is pretty big.

See my cig. Two-paragraph plus, I do believe on any issue relating to government and Collective good of our country, they are moral failures. They would never hire someone but with Trump's narcissism who claims he knows more than the generals and his Great and Mighty wisdom to manage their company or manage their funds, but they're okay with inflicting him as president on the rest of us.

The true definition of trump derangement syndrome is moral or savable about this person, either personally, let alone as president.

I don't support Trump, but I understand why other Republicans do.

Then explain it to us. Tell us how a president who is clearly and by any objective standard out to fleece the country for every penny he can personally, making crucial foreign policy blunders of the highest magnitude in order to preserve his business interests in other states favorable to us f****** up, and is doing everything possible to undermine our basic Credo of democratic constitutional government in order to be a strong man, and yet it's all worth it to fight so-called socialism and baby killing.

Please explain to us how other Republicans can decide that allowing the basic Foundation of American constitutional democracy go in the Wayside is worth it so long as they can repeal Roe versus Wade and not allow Texas for the highest incomes to go up by 2% annually. Explain to us how Republican party over country.

I'm serious.

Because his opponents have within their ranks people who think it's okay to murder an unborn child even after it's indisputably a person.  This is a human rights violation but the Democrats won't condemn it.

In case you haven't noticed, the only things at which Trump has been effective at are (1) tax cuts for the Master Class, and (2) getting lots of reactionaries as judges in the federal courts.

Trump is as toxic a politician as we have had since at least Joseph R. McCarthy. I can see no virtues in Donald Trump as a person, let alone as a leader. He sees the separation of powers between the branches of government as something to evade and not to honor.   He has conducted an erratic foreign policy. He has promoted ethnic and religious bigotry. He has started a trade war that already hurts many Americans while giving benefit to practically nobody.

He is monstrously corrupt.
