Looking at these numbers, Id just like to remind everyone that the primary hasnt even begun. Whats basically being asked here is if a D voter would rather support their unknown senator or a Kennedy. We may see an interesting dynamic where, as voters learn more about the two candidates, people will gravitate over to Markey. But thats just a possibility.

Also, its Change. Dont put too much stock into it.

In related news, rumor has it that many high profile Dems, such as Warren, are planning on actively supporting Markey in the case Kennedy goes for it.

Kennedy can certainly win this, but Change Research isn't the best pollster and it's early. I'm curious who or if Elizabeth Warren will endorse.

Everyone is saying Change isnt that good because they had Warren ahead of Biden, in IA.

Kennedy is alot better candidate than Warren

This is good to hear. It will take a united effort to quell this man's unruly ambitions.

That's why Warren isnt gonna be nominee, Biden will; she is saying we must change the old guard with Biden but must keep Markey. High profile blacks dont like Ben Cardin or Markey

Warren already endorsed Markey.

It will be interesting to see what Pressley does. Markey is the Senate champion of the Green New Deal, so a Pressley run could put AOC in a weird spot.

I think Pressley would only run if the seat became open.

What reason is there to vote for Kennedy over Markey? I'm an MA Democrat and Markey supports the Green New Deal, and I think he supports Marijuana legalization. Unless you just want young people in charge I don't get it. Plus, is it really a new face if it is another face in a dynasty?

Cardin, Feinstein & Markey are elder Senators that have done nothing since they've been in office. The GOP party is dying due to having Coverdell; Isakson, Inhofe, Roff, Lugar and Wicker in too long.

Dems are the Y2K party, not the Markey and Ben Cardin party

Baker will not run, but the numbers are not useless. They indicate that his popularity is even stronger and deeper than most, at least including myself, believed.

The last Harris-X Presidential poll didn't have any Democrat under 70 breaking 4%.

Coverdell? The last Republican to hold Isakson's Senate seat prior to him? He's been dead for 19 years. "Roff" (who I assume is William Roth of Delaware), has been dead for 16 years, and Lugar just died earlier this year.
