Why do so many politicians pretend that praying actually factored into the choice?

What the actual f**k was Kemp thinking when he picked her? She's been a complete disaster from the start in every way possible.

Are there any Georgia posters (or people more in tune to state politics) who know why on earth Kemp picked her? Was it a literal F you to every elected republican in Georgia?

aware I'm close to sh**tposting but how on earth is this a good way to elect a Senator? For some reason I thought the jungle primary was in the summer... it just seems like such a weird & unnceessary way to do an election in a two-party system.

The race between Collins & Loeffler is getting quite nasty; in a show of hilarity they're both attacking each other on their fake websites for supporting Mitt Romney...

I know this is about the 4th time I've ranted but it's madness that this race seems to have the worse Democratic recruits out of any of the states that could flip.

I wonder if the run-off & weirdness with two elections has contributed

Would be interesting to see what someone who understands the law fully thinks- the impression I get is that as long as you don't say to a trader/broker 'sell these shares' you can get away with it. The defence has been that it's done by a 'third-party advisor' but if you have a 30 minute conversation with them every week...

It's baffling why there isn't a requirement for assets to go into a blind trust at the very least.

Have Stacey Abrams or any other big GA Democrats done much lifting for Warnock?

As important as TV ads surely some zoom events or fundraisers with national democrats would help a bit?

Surely Loeffler is miles easier to beat? It's generally always easier to depress turnout from your opposition if there's a vicious primary & ethical concerns with the winner.

I mean I can easily imagine the type of voter who will vote for Collins but not Loeffler in the run-off. I doubt that there's as many of the fabled 'moderate white women' who Loeffler was suppose to attract who would not vote for Collins.

FWIW I think they did $1 million in TV ads in Texas.

It actually appears that republican voters against trump seems to be doing a lot more in terms of grassroots content.
