Hillary ran on the same thing Harris and Booker are saying and it didn't work. "Trump is unacceptable"..blah blah
Considering you think despite everything in the world saying otherwise that Trump is gonna win in some landslide I don’t think your opinions on the matter should be taken with anything other then a grain of salt

I never said landslide. I said he's going to win by varying degrees depending on who the nominee is.

Biden's winning this exchange, but I wish he weren't. Democrats shouldn't go too negative on universal health care plans.

This is so hard to watch.

Harris doesn't know what she's talking about, Biden is speaking like a poorly run algorithm. Someone says something to him and he spits out a rehearsed answer he has to sound out.

He’s literally saying automation is replacing workers and that he is ok with it. (Yang)

Automation is 100% inevitable, why try and stop something that is for the greater good?

Jobs are not  inherently a good thing. Wealth creation, creativity, personal fulfillment are good things.  Jobs are a cost we pay to keep civilization going.

For thousands of years, 99% of everyone spent their lives doing food production to keep what passed for civilization going. That number slowly dropped, and now we're down to something like 1%. The key is to keep civilization going, and keep improving the human condition.  How you make that happen, how best to make that happen, is a question and a challenge, but I doubt it will require the same social structure we've had for the last few centuries.

An important thing to consider is that the healthcare plans candidates release will be significantly different from what they end up enacting, even if they get a trifecta. So the bolder plans show that the candidates will aim higher and potentially a compromise on their plan would be better than a compromise on a compromise, though the other consideration is the more moderate plans may be better in the general election so there is a risk of harming yourself in the general election for something that won't get passed either way (though this risk can be overstated).

I swear didn't Harris want to abolish private insurance in the previous debate or was that Gillibrand?
