You guys want to destroy our culture, surrender our national sovereignty, and destroy every western tradition, and take our guns while at the same time looking down your noses at these people with nothing but contempt.

So yeah, you are the enemy.

No Democrat I know wants to do any of those things.  This kind of hyperbole only damages your (already small) credibility.

(Because Dem hacks totally don't think this about Pubs)

But seriously Charlie shut up this isn't helpful
Maybe about the Republican Party as a institution but not the everyday voters like Charlie did with liberals

By our culture, just so we're clear we don't mean for a list of democratic secular society with strong traditions of constitutionally protecting the rights of minorities and a strong Democratic process built on compromise and finding commonality over differences, right? You just mean plain old white power.

G Sanchez. Just grow a pair and say it. Come on oh, the mods are more than sufficiently neutered that they will consider any expression that you are a white ethno-nationalist but of course don't hate people of other races I simply trying to promote and allow all forms of discussion reflected in 2019 political thought oh, and Lord knows we wouldn't want to turn this place into a left wing Echo chamber.

Come on man. Like your white nationalist flag fly high. This place is a safe space for you folks. At least as far as the mods are concerned.

Most of the Democrats I know are very condescending towards Republicans, but never say they aren't Americans

I wish both sides would get out of this habit of calling each other the enemy.

Remember when Obama was president and the pundits constantly excoriated for him for not engaging in enough "bipartisan" wankery? Good times. Where have these pundits been lately?

"Bipartisanship" never meant anything beyond "Dems should give the GOP everything they want with nothing in return" anyway.

This is only the beginning. China's presence as the boogieman on the right will last for decades. It will also be what pushes the GOP back towards what it looked like in the 19th century in terms of economic nationalism.

Beyond weak. In the first instance, Obama was speaking metaphorically for Hispanics sitting out the election rather than coming out against their enemies and supporting their friends. There's little to no argument that Hispanics could reasonably describe Republicans as their enemies. The same way fundamentalist right-wing Christians could refer to Democrats as their enemies.

In the second instance, the new story refer to a crack Hillary Clinton made about the Republicans being HER enemies. Again, is there any doubt about that whatsoever?

So yeah, referring to Republicans as being the enemies of Hillary Clinton personally, or Hispanics as a voting Bloc, is literally a million miles from saying they are enemies of America.

Oh, you're all just overreacting. You snowflakes! They're just words. It's not like this kind of rhetoric inspired numerous would-be domestic terrorists who plan to assassinate Democrats and other perceived enemies of their worldview. Hahaha, that would be ridiculous!

Very likely we end up with President Richard Spencer in the future. I think the die has been cast.

Anyone who seeks to establish dictatorship or despotism in this country is the Enemy.

To be fair, people like CPAC have redefined conservatism to be a complete rejection of all liberal ideas, and even the old conservative stance that the common man must have a stake in the economic order if he is not to become a fifth column in the event of a military or economic disaster.

that's not cool.

a lot of Republicans think like that now which is why I can't consider myself a Republican, but in the same way a lot of Democrats also talk about Republicans that way.

The man is just trying to keep us down with these political parties.

They want to eliminate cattle or at least reduce red meat consumption per capita by 90%.  Stop lying about what these people aim to do.  You're better than that.

Perhaps only the "brave" ones will say it... but yes, there are powerful interests at work with tendrils in lots of policy making areas that want to take your hamburger away.

Well, if any Republicans here wonder why Democrats seem less willing to "reach across the aisle" and "empathize" with Trump voters, now you have your answer.

I'm not lying. I just don't see dramatically reducing red meat consumption as anywhere near as terrible as a few more decades of unrestrained environmental degradation (sane but obviously abnormal).
