Looks like he needs to get the message for the 3rd time now: YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE PRESIDENT!

It was pretty weak. It reminded me of Hillary's.
No one wants a high moral ground campaign. They want someone who will fight as dirty as Trump. That's the only way to win. The Democrats need a Harry Truman, a scrapper, not a Hillary.

Yep, Hillary lost because she made the whole campaign about how mean Trump is rather than her own policies.

I don't disagree with what he said in the video, but if this is how he plans to run his campaign, I wouldn't like his chances. We can't just run against Trump, we need a message that people can get behind. The people who agree that Trump is a racist/condones and encourages racism are already committed to voting against him. Anyway, hard pass.

If this video is a preview for how he will run his campaign, I'll double down on the idea that he's the most overrated candidate in the field, for the primary and the general. That's not to say I disagree with what he said in the video, but in other videos, candidates talked about specific issues they wanted to address and were personally important to them. This was basically a "Trump is bad and racist, and reflects badly on who were are" kind of video. Not wrong, but not a strong case for voting for Joe Biden rather than not Trump.

Yep, but his messaging is reminiscent of most economic-centrist "faux left", Phoenix/Atlanta/Dallas trophy-wife Dems (frankly, the base the party wants)  nowadays: "Vote for me, because the other guy's a meanie".

Quote
Comcast's chief lobbyist David Cohen and his wife will be hosting a fundraiser for former Vice President Joe Biden Thursday, on the day he is expected to announce his third candidacy for the presidency.

[...]

Unlike many of his competitors, Biden is courting some of the party's traditional high-dollar donors to support his campaign, which is evident from the invitation to the fundraiser, obtained by CBS Philadelphia. The Cohens, along with cohosts who include top lobbyists and lawyers in Pennsylvania, are seeking donations of at least $2,800 to attend the fundraiser, though there is also a "young professional" donation level of $250 included on the invitation.

Does biden truly appeals to the white working class demographic that Trump won in 2016. Can he potentially make inroads there and therefore win presidency? Is Chris Christie onto something?  Biden supported NAFTA. How can he truly appeal to that demographic?

Good hire. He’ll lose probably, but not a bad person to have on your team.

Any Democrat that votes for Biden is no better than a Republican - full stop. When his record comes to light, whomever chooses to continue supporting him is literally no better than a Trump supporter in my book. Even Copmala Harris is better than him.

I could probably hold my nose and vote for the others in the general, but under no circumstances would I ever vote for Biden.

All I have to say is don't vote for Trump.  Same goes for any of the other people completely disgusted by Biden.

If I'm disgusted by Biden, then why on earth would I vote for Trump?

I wouldn't call him DOA yet, but Biden probably has the most downside of anyone else in the field based on polling. A candidate with universal name recognition to the primary electorate and 80% favorability without being severely attacked so far has nowhere to go but down.
