Rand easily, even though he's too wishy washy for my taste. I wish the apple had fallen closer to the tree.

But probably toss-up / tilt / lean Kasich, but if Paul would campaign a lot on legalization of marijuana, i would vote Paul.

Back in the day, Kasich and Rand were my first and second choice for 2016 for much of the period between 2013 and 2015.

Rand. I find his brand of conserva-tarianism much more appealing than Kasich's brand of moderate, center-right governance.

Kasich, as he at least maintains some degree of integrity. Paul has none.

Rand only to remain consistent in my Kasich-bashing.

At least you admit to being a hack. Wink

Ah. I suppose I could see why, but IMO drugs is really the only issue that Rand is preferable to Kasich on.

I know you're more libertarian left now but this still surprised me.

Anyway, I would strongly prefer Kasich in this matchup.

Tempted to say John Kasich, because his boilerplate right-wing republicanism is the lesser of two evils vs Rand Paul's cruel insane libertarianism, but in a role like President Rand Paul's vastly superior foreign policy may be a more important factor.

I mean, it's not like Kasich is left winger, my foreign policy views are on the more interventionist side, and of course there is the fact I actually voted for him in 2016. I guess everyone just assumes that vaguely libertarian = huge Paul fan? Tongue
