They are all total lightweights compared to Hillary. So probably June 2020.

I have no idea.  My primary won’t be until June, 2020 and may not make a difference.

I have, however, decided to support the Democratic nominee in the general election.

I'll be changing my registration to vote for Tulsi in the primary if she lasts that long. There is no other Democrat I would be able to support.

Switching my party registration/Atlas avatar the day Bloomberg announces.
Why...just why?

Election day, because of potentially evolving strategic considerations (i.e., preferred candidate ceases to be viable).

The rankings of the candidates should be fairly locked in after the debates

I can't speak for that guy, but as a socially liberal technocrat who is looking for a President to focus on infrastructure, building our economy, and projecting smart strength abroad, he's the only candidate on either side who ticks those boxes. I also value experience and an understanding of both the private and public sectors heavily.

Time to sweep out the populists on both sides.

Not sure. I have preferences now but I don’t want to write anyone off or blindly support someone from the jump.

What is so appealing about her to you, exactly?

Anyway, for simplicity I will answer with the current situation of me being in Iowa.  I will not be able to vote in the Democratic caucuses, and in the general I will probably vote Libertarian.  I am not voting for another term of Trump, and I am not voting Democratic again (as I did for Hillary) ... didn't sit well with me, and it didn't even stop Trump.  If the Libertarian is terrible, I'll just write someone in.

I’m probably not going to vote in the primary and let it play out rather than change my party registration, but will then enthusiastically support whoever is the Democratic nominee.

When it's time to vote in the primary. Will vote for Klobuchar if she's viable otherwise I have no clue. Will crawl over broken glass to vote against Trump in November.

Once all of the candidates have announced, I will decide if I will re-register as a Democrat (giving up my GOP primary vote for local constitutional offices in my FL county) or remain a registered Republican.

I would say that my PERSONAL favorite for the Democratic nomination is Sherrod Brown at this point.

Fuzzy Bear with a D-FL avatar -that will be a sight to see.

To answer the OP, I will make my preliminary decision on whom to support once everyone has declared their candidacy, and that decision will be finalized once I have seen them in a debate.

Though I am partial to Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Kamala Harris.

This is the first primary in over a decade where I haven't felt passionately about any candidate. So, I'm not really sure. Florida's primary isnt till March of 2020 so I've got plenty of time. If by then a front runner has emerged that isn't Gabbard or Sanders, I'll probably vote for them.

I'm torn between Harris and Booker realistically, because I know Bloomberg (my actual favorite) doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

I'll probably decide whether to vote for Harris or Booker based on who has a better chance of winning TN on primary day. If they're somehow both running neck and neck, I'll go with whoever is most likely to win the general in my opinion.

I most likely won't decide until it is time or almost time to cast my primary ballot, because I will partially want to vote strategically at least to some degree and also be looking at who might be close to delegate thresholds. If there are a lot of candidates, no point wasting my vote on someone who will only get 1%.

If Biden runs I will be #ridenWithBiden but if he doesn't I will probably decide after the first debate or two, in this scenario I definitely see myself changing my mind atleast once.

I'm leaning toward Harris or Gillibrand, but I won't make a true, real endorsement that I'll act on until all the major candidates announce.

I'll likely back Harris, Buttigieg, or O'Rourke if he runs. I still vote in NJ so I'd imagine the dust will be close to settled by the time we vote (I believe the clown car will dwindle quickly after South Carolina).

Probably the debates. I'm registered irl as an indy and I want to campaign up in NH this time around. Should no decent major candidate challenge trump, i'll probably end up supporting the most moderate viable democratic candidate.

When I see someone who I think can both win and bring about positive changes. So far I'm seeing nobody even close.

I'm going to have to wait to see how the first few primaries play out before I make my choice. Maryland has a later primary so I'd rather back someone who looks like they have a legitimate shot of winning the nomination, hopefully Harris or Gillibrand.

Leaning Beto, but I will enthusiastically vote for just about anyone the Dems nominate. Merkley would be nice, but I’m not sure he’s running either. Maybe Bullock or Klobuchar. Won’t decide until everyone has announced. Aka another few months.

Tulsi, but subject to change if Brown, Beto, or Bullock run.
