Big crowd tonight for Bernie in Chicago. Nina Turner had a great speech before Sanders took the stage.

Anyone saying Bernie only cares about economic issues isn't listening to his speech right now.

This Chicago rally feels a hell of a lot more electric than yesterday's. No idea how many people are there; it may just be that since it's indoors, it sounds bigger and louder from the echoes.

Bernie's not my first choice, but I could see myself voting for him in the primary. He comes across as genuine, unlike someone such as Booker.

Here's a live stream of his Chicago rally: https://abc7chicago.com/politics/watch-live-bernie-sanders-holds-campaign-rally-at-navy-pier/5165284/

Does anyone know when the next big rally held by any presidential candidate?

I know that Sanders will be holding three more in Iowa on March 7th-9th.

Thanks!

Bernie congratulated Hillary on her award & shook hands with her in Selma which is sure to get some fringe supporters mad.

Brooklyn rally was Fantastic but this Chicago rally seems way more electric.

Sanders spent a good amount of time talking specifically about racism in his speech tonight. That's not to say that people shouldn't put pressure on him to continue doing so or that he shouldn't be scrutinized; he should be. It is clear, however, that he is at least aware that this has been a weakness of his and is making an effort to talk about race and not merely view inequality through an economic lens. I hope that he'll continue working on this, and not merely pay lip service to it from here on it.

Wait, he hosted another rally? He did Brooklyn, Selma and Chicago in like, 2 days?

Geez, Im starting to like him more and more. Say what you want about him, he's eccentric on the campaign trail.

Selma was NOT a campaign rally. He just made a quick speech and left to go to Chicago.

Thats a lot to do in one day, which is kinda what Im saying. I legitimately didnt know about the Chicago rally, I thought he was just doing Selma.
I like that, it shows how ready he is to keep campaigning and working, which is a great characteristic when facing Trump.

One of Beto's main strengths is his capacity to travel to multiple places in a short span of time while campaigning, which is partly a product of his youth relative to older politicians. The fact that Bernie is still demonstrating that he can do the same kind of thing in 2019 makes me think that Beto will have a harder time than I initially expected if he wants to beat Bernie to the #1 spot.

Today Bernie filed for re-election...in 2024 as an Independent.

He also had a pretty rough time on a black radio show, stumbled a lot on reparations questions and other things.

He also didn't turn over undocumented youth to ICE and then lie about it like your idol Harris. Sad!

I increasingly believe Bernie 2020 is going to collapse under a wave of new scrutiny. The tax returns stuff isn't going to be overlooked like it was in '16, he's going to be continue to be grilled on it. Not hard to imagine a few more disastrous interviews like the infamous NYDaily News one in the future.

The NY Daily News article was an out of context hit job. Any candidate would have looked bad under their selective quotes.

Pretty sure Ryan Saavedra is a MAGA guy, too. Very sad indeed.

This is the same woman who could not name a newspaper that she could read and said the Iranian President's name 10 million times during the VP Debate (every 2 minutes, the name of Iran's President came out of her mouth). Also she also created "Drill, Baby, Drill." This woman does not have a high school diploma. Even Republicans don't like her. Sadly, she can be a Senator if she wants, because primarying Murkowksi is easy
