https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/pete-buttigieg-billionaires-campaign-donations-big-money-2020-election-democrats-a9238726.html

In March, July he said it was wrong to take money or have campaigns fuelled by billionaires. Look what he thinks now the money is paying his campaign
Finally we have somebody asking Pete who is fueling his campaign.

In July he said he would release all his donations and we are still waiting. He has removed McKinsey from his website.
He has also changed his website to hide his career at McKinsey.

This clip makes me sick. I'm not going to say I loathe the guy or anything, but he's done nothing but piss me off over the last few weeks and this is arguably the most egregious example. His tone shift from someone who wanted to unite the far left, the left, and the right to this hyper moderate unconcerned with even trying to understand the hate he gets is nauseating. I guess Bernie is my #2 now.

Calling a gay politician anti-gay because he donated to a red state Democrat who opposed gay marriage in 2012 #JustAtlasThings

Or maybe he wanted a Democrat to win a seat in Indiana? Would it be better to just sit out and let the Republican win without trying? God, I swear some people are f***ing incapable of being pragmatic and are just obsessed with cancel culture. Completely insufferable

Yep!  Thankfully, Donnelly was defeated by gay rights hero Richard Murdock.

The guy has a bigger ego than Trump. There are literally several races in Indiania he could run for an actually be qualified for and have a decent shot of winning. Why doesn't he run against Walorski or Governor, Galloway is taking the leap in Missouri. To be a Mayor of a college town and then think you can just be President demonstrates a huge level of narcissism.

Tbf, he did run for something else, and he clearly would've been good at it.

Pity that that affair became a battle between a beltway hack almost as terrible as DWS at the job, and an alleged abuser who at least wasn't particularly savory.

Thinking Pete should have more experience is a valid argument, suggesting he should get that by running for Congress in a Trump +23 district isn't one of them...

He worked at McKinley, went to Harvard, and served in the army. Political experience is overrated in this regard, in terms of actually have done anything with his life Bernie (the hippie loser essay writer from Vermont who abandoned his kid and spent years moping around/has never held a real job) is the one in need, not Pete.

The important thing is that none of the attacks on Pete would hurt him an a general election. Only leftists are p*ssed off because he might c*ckblock Bernie.

Right, I forgot. Only saying someone is "too far left" is far game. Any other ideological criticism is divisive and a sign that someone is living in a bubble.

No, she’s blocking herself with her refusal to provide policy specifics or anything resembling a coherent justification for her views on a major issue.

The consulting firm is McKinsey, and if you believe today's disclosure of the work he did there, a substantial portion of his work there was learning how to use Microsoft PowerPoint®. Also Bernie went to a better college

Pretty sure he represented several clients on complex matters too, but yes, lets disregard that and just try to discredit him for excelling academically and landing a great paying job as a result. Mind you, at this job, he didn't have to compromise his ethics and his work didn't fit the "corporate hack" profile that many Twitter activists have been trying to protray him as. Sucks when your presumptuous insults and accusations turn out to be unsubstantiated doesn't it. . . I guess you can continue to crucify him for ringing the bell outside a store for the Salvation Army though! I'm sure that will succeed in taking him down

Wow, you seem to be projecting a lot onto my post that I did not say. That's generally not a sign of a good mental state — have you considered seeking counseling?

I have been very consistent in the belief that Buttigieg's work at McKinsey is disqualifying, regardless of the details; this is because I know too many people who work there to trust one of them with power. Not sure what any of that has to do with the Salvation Army.
