The other Libertarian candidate had dropped out previously and this one did not make it onto the ballot. He is presumably running as an independent, but there are no barriers to write-in candidates in SC (one doesn't even have to file to win) so the impact of another write-in candidate in a pool with no barriers to entry isn't going to make much of a difference:

A low-profile independent candidate has also withdrawn from the race. With the third party ballot access deadline having expired and scvotes.gov regularly updated, the ballot is now set as a Democratic-Republican-Constitution race (plus write-in candidates).

I hope this blows up. Honestly, Carlson trying to create Trump-Harrison voters might be the best thing to happen to Senate Democrats since Bullock entered the MT race.

Lol I love Tucker Carlson smearing Graham like that. And it's so ironic/hypocritical how he used an anonymous source to do it too.

For a long time, I've said this race would be Lean R. This only makes me more confident that this is a realistic senate pick up opportunity for Democrats

Also the Lincoln Project released a new ad yesterday attacking Graham. Warning: it is the single most revolting political ad I've ever seen. It actually made me want to throw up.

Yeah I saw. Hopefully we can "accidentally" create Trump-Harrison voters or at least Trump-Abstain voters through Trump supporters not trusting Graham.

I cringed at watching it, but it made its point loud and clear, suggesting that Graham is an opportunistic turncoat who has sold out his constituents. The Lincoln Project has put out the most searing political ads of this cycle, and some of the most searing political ads that I have ever seen in any election cycle which I've followed.

Harrison is not going to win more then a handful of Trump voters. His only hope is Biden winning SC

He doesn't have to hope for Trump voters switching to him from Graham, his better bet is hoping they leave the Senate column blank

Does anyone know how James Smith did in each Congressional District?

Someone I know says internal polling they’ve done in SC-02 has Jaime way ahead and I want to compare from 2018.

I don’t expect Biden to lose SC by more than 7-9 points, so it’s not at all impossible for Harrison to get there with some combination of Trump voters skipping the Senate race, Harrison winning over a few Trump voters, and the Constitution Party candidate siphoning off 3-4% of Graham support. Either way, this is one of those races where renominating the incumbent made the seat more vulnerable than it should be.

Lean R for now, but it has a lot of upset/TX-SEN 2018 potential.

This race is pretty much Safe R

Dems are gonna win AZ, CO, GA, ME and NC, and Rs are gonna win AL, a filibuster proof majority Senate is over, likely get 51/49 Senate

According to DRA, McMaster won SC-2 54-46.

People who have the election sewn up don’t pull ridiculous stunts that get them embarrassed like this:

And they don’t agree to this many debates against a charismatic challenger:

He could just be cruising to November with the baked in R vote. I feel that he’s losing some voters to Both Jaime and third party and he’s freaking out.

I have increasing confidence this race will be close. Happy to do my part collecting money and volunteers for him in Brooklyn on weekends.

Interestingly, we were just hired (relatively quickly, and extremely rare this close to the election) by an IE working on this race and the Boroughs race. South Carolina is a state I cover but haven't polled in since 2010. Will be interesting to get to work and see what the numbers look like.
