Oh please Rep. Rice! Your "concern" is that she is actually going to have some guts and stand up to crazed right wing republicans? Go Pelosi, screw "No Labels".

Lmao at some Bernie hacks on twitter going after Jeffries. It just proves that this call for "new leaders" was just BS by some.

Certainly some ageism. But its hard to blame them when you realize just how old the democratic leadership is.

Moulton does not think that Pelosi has 218.

I'd trust the counting votes Queen personally.

That's half the defections she had last year.

Strange that nobody in this "new generation of leaders" we keep hearing about that allegedly wants to step up decided to step up and challenge Hoyer.

I guess either there isn't a "new generation of leaders," or for some reason they don't want to step up.

I guess that is the new leadership for you - leading by not stepping up. It is an interesting approach to leadership.

Yeah, seriously. My problem is more with Clyburn and Hoyer than with Pelosi.

They were always full of **** about that.

This whole thing is about steering the party to the right and governing like it is the late 90s early 2000's. The new leadership stuff was all about guys like Mouton and Ryan trying to break Pelosi's progressive support by making the debate about age and not ideology.

Luckily, progressives for the most part are smart and snuffed that BS out.

They better start running candidates who support single payer, TF college, police reform, getting out of Afghanistan, Carbon tax, $15 minimum wage. That's all I care. Enough of these loser "moderates". The D Trending suburban voters, are highly educated and realize these things can work! No one's going to vote R because "MUH SINGLE PAYER IS SOCIALISM". Those people would have voted R anyway!

And that Saudi arabia shill Hoyer who opposes ending the funding of the massacre of innocent Yemeni civillians? It makes my blood boil! We need to primary him and show him the consequences of supporting such disgusting actions!
Sorry for the ranting y'all, I'm just so sick of these people lol

This is the problem some progressives seem to have- you fixate yourself on one person (Bernie, Keith Ellison, now Lee), and if you get a slightly different outcome you stomp and vow that you'll support this person and that it's him\her or bust. Seriously, there are many other progressives in the caucus. The 72-years-old woman is the last person you want to elect Speaker in the FUTURE.
