Welp, I think its rather clear now, this race is tilt/lean D. Poor Scott, could have used that money for a couple private jets. Sad

Not a great poll for Scott, considering:

A Florida Quinnipiac poll coming later today. They have been generally very good in that state.

Just voted an hour ago. Red tide Rick is done.

Oh and lol at all those who wasted their time worrying about all the noise and ignoring the fundamentals that easily pointed toward a Nelson win.

LOL, Scott with negative Favorable Ratings after a devastating Cat 4 Hurricane. Give me a break! Now we pretty much know that Q-Pac is crap.

Yeah clearly. Gov. Gillespie agrees.

I'm not saying they should be taken as gospel or anything, but they're clearly one of the better pollsters.

Quinnipiac does rolling releases. If you take a look at this poll, you'll see that the first question is #4. The Governor numbers will probably come out tomorrow.

I mean, this seems pretty high, but Quinnipiac isn't exactly a junk pollster, and the average right now is looking like Nelson +2-3. I'd like to see more good pollsters like Q poll this race, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

The story here is really women and Independents. Look Nelson's % amoung women and Independents:

Democratic women: 94%
Independent women: 68%
Republican women: 10%

Independents: 58% (22 point margin)

This is roughly where I've imagined the race to be for awhile now.

What does that have to do with this particular poll? Neither Atlas nor the mainstream media conducted this poll.

How hillarious is it that Scott spends $100 million of his own money running ads around the clock for a year while Nelson doesn't even run ads till the last 3 months and its just ads featuring him talking about going to space. Lmao but but Scott has high approvals but but Scott has more money but but Nelson is old.

So theyíll probably have Gillum up by like 8 or more tomorrow then. Fourth poll in a row to show that. Hmm. Iím sensing a trend here

I am too. It was present beforehand, starting in September when Nelson and Gillum both started to climb upward, but now the undecideds are moving massively towards the Ds. Its rather possible now that the Ds tie or take the state senate, along with getting the AG office for themselves.

Blaming the media for being too democratic is the go to excuse for GOP hacks.

Polls can be wrong due to bad sampling, but big time pollsters like Quinnipiac don't gin up their numbers. There is no benefit in them doing so.

I think AG is the last office to flip honestly. Moody being the only candidate with significant courtroom experience and her ads being generally much better make me more hesitant on that race. CFO and Ag Commissioner probably go D if Nelson and Gillum are winning fairly easily though

I think CFO would be the last to flip because the incumbent is running. I think Nikki Fried has the best chance to win. She's running a solid campaign and has gotten a lot of press due to her stances on medical marijuana.
