how do u politely tell one of ur friends to stop laughing at everything u say bcuz one of my friends laughs at everything i say even if it is not funny and idk if she's stupid or what.

Me too. I have the "funny guy" stereotype so a lot of the time people will laugh at something I say when I wasn't trying to be funny. Because when I say something it makes it automatically 100% funnier.

ya brah i really feel like im not being taken seriously. i didnt even notice it until my wife was like "she laughs at everything u say even when it's not funny" and now i can't unhear it :<

While everyone is complaining about the quarantine, I honestly don't find it to be that much as the end of the world (even if I, as everyone, find it extremely annoying).

I guess being a long time poster in uselectionatlas DOT org SLASH forum has unironically prepared me for this, as depressing as it sounds

Tfw what everyone else calls quarantine is just an ordinary day for you.

Your sister and her girlfriend are both pregnant at the same time? Wow, that's quite something Tongue

Hopefully your sister and her future wife both have relatively easy pregnancies.

(I assumed you didn't make the doubled stupidity of using fiancee when you meant fiance as well as implying that a male suffers as much inconvenience or trouble as his mate.)

Was wondering if other LGBTs can give me some advice? I'm just tired of being single and alone. A lot of my friends have partners and I'm always single.

Have you tried joining an intramural league?  There are also gay specific ones.  I've never done one, but I know a lot of people who have and they've made great friend from it.  Its a way to find like-minded lgbt.  You might not find a partner directly, but it can't hurt.

Im sorry you are struggling.  I've been there, almost word for word what you said.  The lonliness aspect of being lgbt can get truly overwhelming sometimes if you dwell on it for too long.  A lot of people our age are also not looking for serious relationships.  It sucks, but thats their immaturity showing, its not a failing of yours.  I think once you're in your late 20s, things will start to look up.  Don't change who you are to please others.

Also, I'm not sure if you're on any, but dating (and not so much "dating") apps are really toxic.  I'd stay away from them to clear you're head.  The people on there are cruel.

Probably because too many people on this forum are on it right now.

More likely it's just Speculum being Speculum.

I'm 25 and I've never had a relationship. I've had one dating experience a few years ago that lasted about a month. It ended super abruptly and awkwardly because a third party had convinced the other person to break things off.

...

I'm very happy with my current life track. Especially compared to 2016-2018 - where I was very unhappy and very much broken as a person.

But even with my current happiness level I want to keep reaching for more and I don't want to feel capped off. But the reality is that I feel frozen in place and in time.

...

I've created walls around myself that now feel like titanium.

Sunrise, I can't say much on your many other areas of inquiry or interest. That said, the above excerpts strike me as very familiar in one form or another. Most people I know in relationships formed them during college... and they are quite thankful that they made such connections because after graduation it gets much harder to make the crucial connections that relationships are built in. College is a very organic environment in that regard, and adults have few opportunities after that outside of either work or groups they self-select into and have to go out of their way to maintain. I'm around the same age as you and feel a similar sense of confusion on my actual path forward, romantically and otherwise. Doing well professionally--which I like to think I am--is a very good place to be, but sadly not enough when it comes to dealing with the, eh, grander questions of your place in life. All this is to say I sympathize with you in these regards and wish you the best.

I'm so desperate for live sports that I'm about to watch Australian Rules Football on FS1, which is pretty much the only sport that has chosen not to suspend play.  I watched a 5 minute primer video on the rules, so hopefully I can keep up.

I received a 99/100 on my Medieval History midterm, which might be the highest grade I've ever gotten on a major test like this. More evidence that exams should allow students to use their notes, in order to reward creative thinking rather than memorization.

The truck lot is eerily quiet. None of our tenants are on the road, the body shop that rents from us has come to a standstill, and my forty minute commute has been halved because there is no real traffic on 95 at all.
