Yep, just never mind the inconvenient fact that there were 30 Obama nominees left pending on the executive calendar, all of which had cleared the Judiciary Committee, and most of them by voice vote, when Obama left office. An additional 8 nominees had hearings in committee but were then left to die in committee, and still more (including Garland) did not even receive a hearing.

The scary thing is I think he is actually so stupid that he doesn't know.

It would be one thing if he were Mitch McConnell and said something like that - you would know that he knows that that's absolutely crazy and he is only really saying it for the purpose of partisan posturing.

But with Trump, especially if you were watching the press conference and saw/heard the way he said it, it seemed to me pretty clear the he actually was just completely unaware of it.
