I Perry would have primaried Cruz.

Cruz’s primary campaign in Iowa was just horrid.  His use of religion was beyond the pale.

My wife and I would only vote for him to keep the Senate.  I guess less partisan Republican and GOP leaning Independents could take him down.

I guess exchanging Scott for Cruz, if we keep the Senate could be survivable.

I would take that deal.

Being from Texas, I guess you would.

Lol yeah.

I really feel guilty for feeling this way.  Cruz is a self made made man. He came from a broken home. He pulled himself up by his boot straps.   He had a fantastic scholarly college and legal background. Old Beto in contrast was a product of wealth, privilege, and boarding schools.  He was born with at least part of the Bush silver spoon in his mouth.   He also is a fraud, attempting to be a Beto.

But that Iowa campaign.  God help us.

Still think Cruz will win and I am beginning to believe Scott will win.  So actually, there is no deal yet.

Lol ok. I don't have any personal problems with people like Cruz or Paul Ryan. They are the kind of folk that I could be friends with after they leave office and get a root beer with. I do admire their success stories and such, they just have awful politics imo. I could not say the same for Trump or Schuylkill Scott though.

OK, but self-made? I don't think so. His parents were both smart and well to do and sent little Rafael to private school.

Yeah, no. I need to see other polls corroborating this.

Still think this is the most plausible 3rd Dem pickup instead of TN.

Yeah, I've always thought this. Though that's more because I'm extremely pessimistic for TN rather than being optimistic for TX.

You just might be right. Bredesen's lead appears to be gone now, while O'Rourke is slowly closing the gap. I still don't think they'll pick up either one, though.

I would even put the MS runoff ahead of TN given the insane Dem turnout for special elections.

Mississippi is very inelastic, more so than Tennessee. Also, this isn't a Doug Jones - Roy Moore situation where the Democrat has raised far more money than the Republican; it's the other way around. Unless McDaniel somehow beats Hyde-Smith in the primary, it ain't happening.

In 2018, in a Trump midterm, upsets are likely to happen.  And Beto stands a good chance of winning.

Why hasn't this poll been added to the database?

Why hasn't this poll been added to the database?

Is there any actual data for this poll, or will it remain confined to a single screenshot on a Daily Kos tweet?

I've done quite a bit of looking for something to back this up, but without success.

Yeah, you logistically couldn't add this "poll" because there is zero data for it. You'd have to make up a sample size, MoE, etc. out of thin air in order to get it in the database.

Fair. I assumed we would only post polls here that had data available.

There's still been nothing published to back up this poll.  Possibly they found some methodological problem and pulled it (if it ever really existed at all).

Well I'm glad at least one poll could get Beto in the lead. But otherwise I'll believe it when I see this for a month+ consistently. Until then Texas is lean R
