She is the favorite to win the nomination. So we have to seriously consider her options for vp. I am certain that she would want to avoid nominating another senator but i have included Feingold as he is a maverick liberal and has the carrot of carrying Wisconsin. I am pretty certain that Feingold would make a difference in WI and MN to secure a vicotry for the democrats. As WI is a true battleground state feingold must be considered seriously.

Ed Rendell can carry PA. His approval ratings are falling but i think the PA voters like him. Hillary might have the confidence in winning PA on her own and goes for Vilsack who is from a true purple state to nullify the worries in WI,MN and IA. I have no doubt that the number one target is Ohio but you can never give up in Florida (the size of the votes is too much) so she may go the Hispanic route and nominate Bill Richardson who could help hillary out in New Mexico and Nevada plus an outside chance at the growing hispanic influence in Colorado.

Hillarys problem is that she needs to get the populist democrat vote out for her. So she may go for Mark Warner. The young fresh-faced successful governor of Virginia - although i think he would more likely run for the senate in 2008.

Then we have Wesley Clark. Clark gives the ticket more of a tougher look. There number one priority is security for the American people (one thing edwards indeed lacked). Clark can get the populist vote out but he cant promise his state.

So whos it going to be. what would be the best move..all i know is that the democrats have some strong candidates.

She doesn't need "Bugsy" Rendell to win PA.

Rendell would be a great pick.  Assuming he wins re-election, he would lock up PA.  He'd also help with the jewish vote that is starting to trend away from Democrats.  He's charismatic and gives off a more mature vibe than Hillary.

she'll pick you.  Then freedom lovers and disenchanted non-prude Democrats like BRTD will overthrow your gynocratic dictatoral opression.

Oh, by the way, STFU about Hitlery.  It's getting old Nomo.

Richardson.  Hillary's' not going to win anyways, so we may as well try to make inroads with Latinos in preparation for 2012

I'm just wondering why your sudden interest in her and why you keep making threads about her.  Something you never really answered me about.

sounds like Hell. I feel bad for you. I guess to give her the best odds of getting my vote, Kerry, but for the best chance of electability, I guess Gore. (but he isnt going to want 4 more years as VP)

Hillary should pick the distinguished senior Senator from West Virginia, Robert Byrd.  The Democrats may then be able to get West Virginia back into the Democratic column, which could spell the difference between victory and defeat in a close election, one as close as 2000.

Or perhaps she should pick the venerable senior Senator from Hawaii, Daniel Inouye.  After all, he'll only be 84 in 2004.  It's about time the Democrats recognized the Aloha state's contribution to the party in presidential elections.

Another suggestion is the good lady from Maryland, the never-at-a-loss-for-words Senator Barbara Mikulski.  She would guarantee the campaign would never be dull.

Not a good idea for the Democrats to have two Senators on the ticket?  Then perhaps former California Governor Gray Davis would fill the bill.  He would bring his natural charisma and charm to the ticket, as well as his budget balancing skills.

I would also like to suggest Governor Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana.  She proved to be such an effective leader during times of crisis that this cannot help but impress voters all across the nation.

One name that should not be overlooked is Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana.  This cowboy may be just who Hillary needs to round up voters out west.

Lest we get too far ahead of ourselves, however, we must remember not one vote has been cast in choosing a Presidential nominee.  Remember somebody by the name of Howard Dean?  Howard Who, you ask?  You remember, that guy who was FOR SURE going to be chosen as the Democratic nominee in 2004?  Yes, that guy.  We all know what happened to Howard Dean, don't we?

Tipper Gore.

Semi-seriously though, what she has is name recognition.  When the campaign gets underway things may change dramatically.   I mean what would happen if some son of a former president with a checkered past managed to use name recognition and party loyalty to vault himself into a governorship with little real power.   Would he really stand any chance of being elected nationwide...

Then again, I withdraw my critisism.  Heaven help us all.

Nobody of any political future would hook on to Hillary's sinking ship.  She'd undoubtedly lose in the general, which makes the idea that Bayh or Warner would end their presidential hopes by latching on to her is silly.
