All regions in Texas gained at least one seat. The state went from fifty-one to fifty-eight. None of the constituencies from last time are unchanged; population growth was such so that I chose to work from a blank slate. Mostly. Denton was barely in range for 2 by itself. As happened last time as well, Rockwall was paired with Dallas for 5. Tarrant became populated enough for 4. Collin had enough for 2, as opposed to almost 1.5 last time. One constituency is no longer enough for Montgomery County, and Conroe has to shrink. Population growth also forces the separation of Galveston and Beaumont. Travis County gets a new constituency that has all of the county south of the Colorado River, and another that takes in white areas north of it; the rest is paired in what is intended to be a minority opportunity seat down the line. Bexar is redrawn to have all its districts be Latino-controlled.
