Vukmir winning is *incredible* for Democrats in Wisconsin. She's a really bad messenger and will do a fine job defining the GOP as establishment and out-of-touch across the state.

Baldwin consistently polled better against Vukmir too.

Not a big fan of Evers, but will gladly vote for him over Walker. He's worrisome because he's not a great campaigner, but he'll be a good Governor.

Looks like Anoka and Hennepin are mostly in; Ramsey barely reporting. Will Murphy do well in Ramsey and how much vote does Walz likely have outstanding outside the Twin Cities?

Neither here nor there, but Minnesota's SOS removed the geoblock! I remember having to use a VPN to access Minnesota election results from there, and it was annoying.

Is Jeff Johnson any different than Pawlenty in any meaningful way other than lower name recognition?

From what I can tell, he's slightly more conservative but far more of a bomb thrower.

A lot, most of his district is still left to be counted. He’s got this.

Hopefully there's a lot of Democratic vote outstanding in WI. As much as people say it doesn't matter, the GOP being at 56% of counted ballots thus far wouldn't be an optimistic final number for Democrats.

They're even now. And there's still nothing in from Dane County.

Yep, great news for Walker right now. Lean--->Likely R this November. So much for the tariffs helping the Dems here. WOW is delivering for the GOP as always.

And just like that, Democrats take the lead with a Milwaukee dump (Dems now 53% of ballots statewide).

Gotta admit, I feel kind of stupid now. Every time I saw Phil Scott's primary opponent's name mentioned, they always just said "grocer," so I kept thinking it was like, just some literal bagger or cashier running a some dude campaign (it's happened before elsewhere), now that I saw this person getting >38% I looked him up and he owns a grocery store.

Why can't they just say he owns a grocery store / small business? Why "grocer" Sad?

Well--- it worked for Margaret Thatcher. as the "Grocer's Daughter" some 40 Years Back... Smiley

There is, two thirds of the vote is still outstanding. Also worth noting that most of the WOW vote has already come in for Republicans while Dane has yet to report anything for the Democrats.

So happy to see Creepy Richard Painter get crushed

I actually agree with you.

Him choosing to run was such a self-serving move. If he truly gave a crap about the country, he should have donated to Smith and be done with it.
