Great news! Dane is becoming a stronghold for Ds. But who does this help in the D primary?

My guess is that this will not be a stronghold for any particular candidate. Evers, Mitchell, Roys and Soglin will all probably get a decent number of votes here.

I think Evers wins this, but there are so many candidates and so many undecideds that it could go to anyone.....then again, I said the same thing for HI-01.

I am really hoping Cathy Myers gets destroyed in the primary by at least a 3 on 1 margin.

Why? Isn't she clearly the strongest candidate at this point? I used to like Bryce but the guy is clearly a bit sketchy.

I do not want single custodial parents who have chosen not to put their child up for 3rd/4th adoption to be running in Democratic primaries. Failing that, I want to see them destroyed by a landslide in the primary.

That I believe children are better off in a family with 2 loving parents, not 1, and that it is immoral to require people to pay child support for children they never wanted? To me, this is common sense progressive positions.

You seem incapable of understanding the nature of the bond between a parent and their child and the psychological implications of separating them (which I guess is one thing you have in common with the T***p administration). Again, I'd rather not know why that is.

The key difference is that the children and parents are not able to live a safe life with trumps policy, and that trumps policy is done against the will of both parents.

Adoption does, however allow both the parents and the children to continue living a safe life, and I believe when parents cannot get along on the decision on whether to put a child up for 3rd/4th party adoption or to raise the child on their own, the former is the more important viewpoint to respect. This has been my unwavering political ideology since when I was literally 8 years old and I back this ideology out of an altruistic desire to make the world a better place.

Also, I actually never realized that my preferred method of handling situations like this was not the law of the land until I was 16, when I was reading some wikipedia articles on the topic, which was 8 years after I came to the conclusion that it was the best way to handle it.

Guys, this is the thread for the primaries today. If you want to debate, then it would be preferable as a PM.

Anyway, it seems that turnout is strong in MN, WI which is great news for D prospects in the Midwest. Im unsure, however, on CT.

yeah, hes been going against Smith for a while now. Hes campaigning on centrism, a compromise between both parties. Hes not going to win.

Oh lol, that sounds good, but I don't trust him, so I still want Smith.

wait. What?.......no, hes not. The third candidate, Leonard, is endorsed by a branch of Our Revolution, but the official organization has made no endorsement.

Most likely, he has wayyyyy more name recognition than any of his opponents and the allegations of domestic abuse (weather true or not) came out so recently that not many voters probably know about them
