New Historians are anti-Zionist or Post-Zionist trash. Ilan Pappe is especially awful and trashy, but Avi Shlaim and Shlomo Sand also suck.

The only exception is Benny Morris, someone I consider a FF (making me an outlier among other revisionist or right-wing Zionists).

If you support Israel as much as you say you do, then yes.

I'm an Israeli and I had no idea lol.

Anyway, sound like HPs, not only for the false black-and-white narrative, but also for the ridiculous assertion that changing history will somehow advance the peace process. This is incredibly stupid because if we fight over history, we'll never be able to cooperate about the future. What the peace process needs is to shed the conflict over historic facts and the "rights discussion"- aka the discussion in which each side claims a right over this land for religious or historic reasons- in favour of an "interests discussion", in which we actually discuss about our current interests and try to find a real solution rather than bicker.

seems like an odd way to phrase that, but....ok.

It's just another way Israel is better than many of it's neighbors who would never allow something this critical of their govts to exist.  It's good when there are people that question the authorities, whether I agree with them or not.  It keeps everybody on their toes.
