Yes. Provisional military governors and anti-corruption commissions would allow us to run a massive War on Cartels and mostly win within 4 years.
Ah, yes, just look at the successes of the War on Drugs and Mexico's current drug war...so much winning we're getting tired of it.
In a direct confrontation with the cartels, the U. S. would carry the day.

Ah yes, and the Taliban has been completely destroyed.
