You do realize that the music in this Classic Emo station has absolutely nothing to do with those stupid kids with their ridiculous haircuts, that the earliest stuff on it predates them by about two decades, and sounds nothing like the garbage music associated with them labeled "emo" right?

...Why is it considered okay to denigrate depressed teenagers struggling with a lot of sh*t(anecdotally, the kids I know who are in the modern emo subculture also tend to be some of the ones with the hardest lives and the most struggles with depression, etc. eg a kid who's father yelled that he wishes he aborted them, among other things)

Because people in my scene didn't like being associated with that junk because it didn't represent them at all and such people didn't dress like that at all, and it was annoying to say "emo" and have it be associated with that crap instead of what emo actually is. And they tend to be pretty elitist and hated the music too. And thought the fashions looked pretty stupid (which they did.) And tend to hate opposition subcultures in general. See also the anti-metalhead sentiment.

You do realize that said scene is also obsessed with political correctness, feminism, and excluding and rejecting anyone who doesn't perfectly fit its progressive values or values culture and tradition incompatible with them, right?

These are literally some of my friends you're saying deserve to be ING MURDERED. You want to MURDER a bunch of goddamn teenagers and you think that BEING FEMINIST is enough to MURDER KIDS.

I mean I've never heard of anyone in my scene engaging in violence against such people unlike against Nazis (it has a bunch of Antifa types.) The most we ever did was have message board threads laughing at pics of them and how they looked and laughing at the ridiculous angsty stuff they wrote.

This was of course about ten years ago because no one actually dresses like that anymore.
