She didn’t turn a blind eye, she asked the House employment office for advice and followed their advice, which was to let them go quietly, signing a non-disclosure agreement.

For example, I want Blake Farenthold gone and think it's insane that Farenthold got away with only not running for reelection rather than resigning, but your opinion doesn't really matter when you're talking about opposite party people.

Whenever it’s a women politican involved they are held to a different standard. I find it interesting all these people want Esty to resign when Mark Meadows did something similar and nobody cares or calls for his resignation.

I was among the chorus that called for Franken to resign, and even though he did, it left something to be desired. This time around, I would prefer if an ethics investigation is allowed to go through, for the sake of due process.
