Morrisey. Blankenship comes in a close second, and Jenkins places third. Establishment will be upset, because Jenkins would likely be the best GE candidate

How do yall think a matchup with Manchin would play out between each candidate?

I would say Manchin barely wins against Jenkins 49-46. Wins somewhat healthily against Morrissey 54-42, dominates Blankensh!t 67-30.

Jenkins 49%, Manchin 46% (being very generous to Republicans here)
Manchin 50%, Morrisey 45%
Manchin 53%, Blankenship 41%

Jenkins is the only one who could make this competitve. He's popular in WV-03, which is Manchin's base.

Is there any real rhyme or reason to why you guys think Blankenship will win other than that he's the most insane one? He's still polling in 3rd place and the craziest candidate doesn't always win the primary.

Expecting the GOP to nominate the most insane one hasn't failed me yet

Doug Jones, Claire McCaskill, Joe Donnelly, Harry Reid and Chris Coons can't thank our party's primary voters enough!

Oh thank God you’re not a Republican

He's been consistently polling 2nd recently.

Why isn’t the NRSC getting involved here and in Montana? Another race Republicans are blowing big time. I’ve stopped trying to count them.

If WV had a top-two primary, the runoff would likely be between Manchin and Jenkins (with many Democrats voting for Jenkins in the primary).
