Also, her coming from behind to beat Gray, who's a strong candidate as well, speaks well of her abilities as a campaigner.

Same is true of Eastman.

Yes, it is hard to argue against someone who just won a tough race.

It should be no surprise Gray lost. People want something new and different instead of the same perennial, entitled loser candidates. A new younger generation is going to begin uprooting the current Congress so all of these "shock" wins shouldn't surprise anyone.

Gray absolutely would've, if not won, done better had that ad accusing McGrath of carpetbagging never been run. Stupid, stupid idea.

It's funny to see Atlas act like Eastman and McGrath are bad candidates when they aren't.

Atlas also thinks McCaskill is doomed but Manchin is safe despite her doing better in the polls and being from a much bluer state. I sense a pattern here.
Can you spell "misoygny"?

You can’t, genius. lol

Interesting...Politico has Abrams leading 5282-4660, but the Georgia SoS site has it at 6581-2809.

Gray absolutely would've, if not won, done better had that ad accusing McGrath of carpetbagging never been run. Stupid, stupid idea.

Local media coverage of it was universally negative and it didn't help that he refused to answer questions about it from the press and voters during media and campaign events on Monday. It made him look cowardly.

Why was the carpet bag ad reacted to badly? I have not followed race but that seems like a common ad against candidates

It was viewed as attacking her military service.

laughing at atlas discounting more liberal candidates in a midterm year with unpopular president and greatly unpopular sitting house members. because nominating moderate in 2016 was so great for democrats and outsider like trump didn't win.

Sorry, but what's the evidence for this?

look at how republican members of house are doing in statewide races
