No. This is a request, not a subpoena. There's legal debate about the subpoena issue, and even if he were subpoenaed, he could technically use the 5th amendment to avoid answering, though obviously that would make him look guilty.

If it is anything that his type is good at, its hiding from cops. I've seen people who hid in broad daylight from cops in their homes for an hour and then I saw some idiot kids not be able to keep cops out from a house party for 5 minutes.

Apparently Papadopoulos's recollection differs from what Sessions told Congress about his contacts with the Russian Government and the level of knowledge and ratification of the Papadopoulos-Russian connection within the campaign...

I think it's been pretty obvious for a long time that  Sessions committed perjury during his confirmation hearing.

The evidence mounts. Mueller should ask him to have a seat.

Why should we take a convicted liar at his word when he’s not even speaking under oath?

How did the jury take Gate's testimony?

If the jurors who’ve spoken to the press are to be believed, not well.  From what I’ve read, it sounds like they kinda agreed to ignore everything Gates said b/c they didn’t believe him.  Gates was far from the strongest prosecution witness, that’s for sure.  I wouldn’t believe a word Papadopoulos says unless he’s under oath, but that’s just me.  Again, the man is literally a convicted liar.

Those two would have been able to provide written documentation to back their story up though.

That still doesn't fix her reputation of being a spy. They seem to be focusing on the wrong thing here.

It amazes me that none of the accused witches back in the day ever thought to cut a deal with prosecutors for a few weeks in jail, a fine, and some community service.

There wasn't really such a thing as community service back in the 17th century and a few weeks in jail could still kill you...
