Which 2018 movies are you most interested in?

I'm thinking of watching on the big screen, or eventually on Netflix (pending reviews and what friends say):

1. Avengers: Infinity War (May 4)
2. Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25)
3. A Wrinkle in Time (March 9)
4. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (11/16)
5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (6/22)
6. Black Panther  (2/15)
7. The Incredibles 2 (6/15)
8. Mary Poppins Returns (12/25)
9. X-Men: Dark Phoenix (11/2)
10. Spider-Man: VENOM (10/5)
11. Animated Miles Morales Spider-Man movie (12/14)

What are the 2018 movies you're thinking of seeing, whether at the big screen or waiting until it comes to the small screen?

The Incredibles 2
A Wrinkle in Time
Wreck-it Ralph 2
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Isle of Dogs

I'm rather tied of superheroes at this point [especially the Marvel-verse], with Logan and Wonder Woman being really nice surprises, so I don't really care much for Blank Panther or what have you.

Fantastic Beasts was never that interesting an idea to make a movie off of, so a sequel has no power.

I'm probably done with Star Wars as a filmic medium after Episode IX finishes up the sequels, and Colin Trevorrow being booted has already dimmed my hopes of that one being good.

But I'm open to nearly anything else not on the radar yet.

I have sequel fatigue, and i think it is more entertaining for professors to give speeches on youtube than the crap major movie studios throw at the public.

It's creepy that you are sounding like me.

Pretty sure my presence in the atlas is gonna make everyone more stingy about what we post and more visibly elitist in taste.

Nothing coming out can match the hype I have for Avengers: Infinity War. There are several other films I'm interested in, tho.

Tomb Raider, Midnight Sun, and Fantastic Beasts probably. I dunno I still like checking out the marquee every week just to see what's playing.

At this point, none.  As Ginger Rogers once said, "They're not going to get my money to see the junk that's made today."

I know this sounds horribly pretentious, but I never really "anticipate" any of the major blockbusters. I'll see a lot of them, and I like quite a few, but they're never something I actively look forward to (Black Panther being an exception in the short term). My watchlist is mostly compiled by monitoring reviews and buzz from the major film festivals (I tried five different variations of this sentence in an effort to find one that didn't make me sound like a snob, but they all categorically failed).

What are the 2018 movies you're thinking of seeing, whether at the big screen or waiting until it comes to the small screen?

Every single one is a sequel or adaptation of a previous work. Ugh. Make Hollywood Original Again.
