What are the 2018 movies you're thinking of seeing, whether at the big screen or waiting until it comes to the small screen?
Every single one is a sequel or adaptation of a previous work. Ugh. Make Hollywood Original Again.
There are original films from the major studios all the time. An occasional
Get Out notwithstanding, very few attain blockbuster status. It's a consequence of the cross-medium pollination of globalized media franchises.
why don't you become a Hollywood writer?
Because he'll be quasi-abducted by a faded star from decades past who will quickly lose touch with reality and shoot him to death in a swimming pool.
